Did they actually have the spray down in that situation? I remember thinking that the Philly player really deserved a card more than Beckham there and that the spray would have moved the game along there.
The ref was happy with the position of the wall though. Having the spray down wouldn't have changed that. If the ref puts the spray 8 or 10 yards away, it doesn't matter. (and no, the spray wasn't used - which was another reason for Beckham to complain) Also, if it is the "Charging" of the ball that is the problem - you don't need paint to see that a player charges out too early, and yet nothing gets done. Anyone that says Beckham doesn't deserve the booking, is having a larfff.
