I cannot effectively dispute the claim, what person in their right mind goes out and refs soccer every weekend?
I have noticed that there is a disproportionate number of goalkeepers in my referee classes. I believe that speaks to the (lack of) sanity required for ref'ing.
Heard the center circle called the referee circle in a new referee orientation class by a parent attending, I really think that's what she thought it was and not trying to be funny
