Well, if we're Pac-Man, then it should be easy to identify who the four ghost monsters would be. Can imagine some interesting sign ideas from this. (We are Silicon Valley, after all)

We probably should steer clear of Big Oil and all of its baggage.

Would be quite appropriate for Houston.

PacMan looks like he's wretching balls.

I haven't seen anyone have a reversal of fortune since the last year 109 was the stew pot that all the supporters boiled in together.

Oh good, I was hoping your team did not end up with this logo!

There were a lot of logos posted here starting around page 20.

We should give a prize to whichever proposed design came closest to the bullseye.

I have a bad feeling that I'm not going to like the new crest... I may have to stock up on current Quakes merchandise.

No thanks. I'm looking for one of those light blue and white Quakes warm up jackets they wore this last season, but I can't find any....

I wonder what they will do with all of the old merch that the players used, like training gear and those warm up jackets you're talking about.

Bunch of African kids will be wearing Quakes gear very shortly. It'll go great with their Niners and Patriots gear.

You needed to be quick with old Quakes merch. They don't re-order. They get a minimum run of 500 - 800, when they're out, they're out...and those jackets were really popular.

Wonder if this will change with the new merch.

I suspect it'll change with the new stadium. Which reminds me, is it going to have a team store?

Yes. On the webcam, check out the foundation in the lower right foreground. Part of that structure will house a team store.

Well then there you go. They'll keep more things in stock if just for that now more than likely. If they don't then they're doing it wrong. Even MiLB teams keep their team store stocked.

If s0mething's going to go outside the "circle", if it went on the lower right corner it would form a "meta Q". What you have there looks more like the "male" symbol, which is OK too but may alienate some of the fan base :--).

Used to live in a country in Southeast Africa. Saw a lot of sports gear (including a "James 23" Knicks jersey - file that one under wishful thinking). Only MLS gear I ever saw in nearly three years there was a Preki Kansas City Wizards jersey. Almost wanted to stop the guy, but then I remembered a friend of mine, an Oregon State grad, scaring the crap out of a little kid in a Beavers shirt, and thought better of it.
