Our tough series of fixtures continues as we host Valenica at our beautiful estadio. We dispatched APOEL midweek while they played a Europa League game on Thursday.

    Squad List

    Casillas, Adan, Jesus
Pepe, Marcelo, Coentrao, Albiol, Arbeloa, Varane
Sahin, Kaka, Ozil, Granero, Alonso, Altintop, Khedira, Callejon, Di Maria
    Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Higuain

Sergio Ramos is suspended while Diarra and Carvalho are absent due to coaching decision.

    Aitor's Pre-game Comments

"We have to win tomorrow and show just how strong we are at home. Most of the squad is active and we've reached this far thanks to its efforts."

"We've topped the table most of the season thanks to the job we're doing and everything we are achieving. We must continue thinking the most imminent game is most important and focus on ourselves, which has been working for us till now."

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikLGgKG_t7Q"]?Karanka: "El Barça es favorito para la Champions"? - YouTube[/ame]

"Valencia will cause trouble for us because they have great players and a great coach. They always replace those who leave with excellent signings and that's why they're third on the table and currently playing the Europa League semifinals. It will be a complicated match. They used to be more relaxed in third place a few weeks ago, but other teams are pressuring them now and they will make things very difficult for us."

"Di Maria played 10 minutes in Pamplona and 35 against APOEL. He's ready for more, but we've yet to determine if he can start tomorrow. He is an important player who's been injured a long time. He's recovered for the most important stage of the season and we hope he gives us all we expect him to."

"The coach said what everyone thinks about Barcelona's favoritism in the Champions League. Frankly, they are playing very well and are in top form. They are favorites again."

The Unai Emery show will also be in town and will include many new interpretive dance performances.

ESPN 2? Is that different than ESPN? And what about ESPN 2 HD? Is it going to be in HD?

Always a cracking matchup. Wouldn't mind Emery catching a Pepe clearance to his Stevie Janowski-looking head.

Gotta contain Soldado, we knew he'll leave it all out there.

Benzema/Higuain up front. min 4 goals. 2 each. The last outting was insane and I don't want soldado to rack up 1-2-3 goals..not good.

ESPN2?!?!? wow. wtf. how ? great news for me :D

I'm thinking Kaka should start, he seems unstoppable right now and would definitely help break their defense right from the start. I'd like to see Madrid play:

    ------------------Iker
    Arbeloa----SR4-----Pepe---Marcelo
    ------------------Alonso
    --------------------------------------
    Di Maria-----Kaka----Ozil----Ronaldo
    ------------------Benzema

There's a chance we'd be more likely to concede but I think we'd have a lot more scoring chances with those 5 up front :D

Without Ever Banega, Valencia's midfield has shown its cracks in recent weeks. Controlling the midfield will be key this time around.

    Good point.

But they both should get one against Atletico, in order to miss the game against Sporting.

ESPN 2 is the sequel fool. The one where Ryan Gosling and Sandra Bullock exchange bodies :)eek:) with unpredictable and often hilarious results.

    Bwahahahhaaaa. Fantastic. :D
