Hahha we lost Pepe & Ramos for this game and he is putting Casillas on the bench. This is pathetic.

Not to say that Adan is fit to lick the dirt off of Casillas' cleats but Iker has had it coming performance-wise, especially if he's been undermining Jose's authority.

Let's remember, no one is bigger than Madrid, Casillas or Mourinho.

This is a shame for Adan too, he doesnt deserve to be treated like this. He is used in a fight between Mourinho and the club. This sucks.

Bingo. Just bad for Iker that Mourinho is bigger than Casillas.

Casillas should always be in the goal, always.

Casillas is personification of this club and what it represents. Anyone saying otherwise might as well go ******** themselves

I hope everyone leaves the stadium when it is clear we are losing this game again because of these bullshit decisions from Mourinho.

    Why do you think that?

If he was the Iker of 06-09, yes. In recent years he just seems like an unmotivated, easily dejected glorified traffic cop.

[party line] There is no fight. This is 100% about form. [end/party line]

I don't know that today is as big a deal. The 'shock' move was at Malaga. I actually think it would be a bigger deal to sit Iker versus Celta at this point. The only way this blows up any further today is if Adan really struggles.

Yeah, because they would be "real fans" of the club. Would only support theory they turn up for the glory like a majority of them do anyway.

Because Iker is always better then Adan even when he is sick and tired. Barca is laughing there asses of putting the Nr 1 keeper in the world on the bench... we need these points damn it.

Yeah the shock value isn't as much when you know something like this might be coming.

So you are saying that he is above or at least level with the club?

What if we don't lose? What if Adan doesn't play crap?

Why are you worrying what they think?

Well they must do something. Support the team when these weird games are played in the background is not healthy for the club either if you ask me.

Well at the moment, it's left to be desired. What will you say if Adan pulls of a match winning save?

Just because he is No1 doesn't mean he shouldn't be dropped for some poor ass performances. I hope Mou does bring in a quality keeper in the summer to challenge Iker. He needs competition and has been to comfy for the last 3 years.

******** off. A coach makes decisions and that's it. I dont give a shit about Iker. There, i said it.

If the manager feels it's justified to bench a player, whoever it will be, i will back the manager. Simple as.

Neither manager or player should be too big for the club to sit, bench, punish, etc. This is part of our problem.

Again, why do you care what barca thinks?

I'm saying that Casillas is the kind of player that Real Madrid wants and we had back in the glory days. The kind of player who everyone likes and respects and you know he loves the club. He's the Di Stefano of our day.

The club would be ******** all without the kind of players like Casillas throughout it's history.

Yea that would be good for him, but putting Iker on the bench without Pepe & Ramos in the field is asking for big problems. Really big ones.

Who cares what Barcelona thinks? Adan isn't better than Casillas, but if this is something that can motivate the visibly stale Casillas then I'll forsake the three points to a league that's already lost.

Having said that, I'm not sure if I can say that Casillas is the best keeper in the world. I'd be hard pressed to include him in the top three at present.
