I think the main key in us progressing would be a clean sheet at home (or conceding 1 goal at most)...I'm sure we will have our chances to score in Germany. I'd throw Casemiro in the mix instead of Xabi to give our back line more protection and to press harder in midfield. Di Maria and Casemiro could do a massive job disrupting them in the middle of the park. Defensively I'd go with two banks of four like in the copa final. I don't think we should start Ronaldo fresh from such an injury....unleash him late on in this one, and start him in Germany. Benz has a MASSIVE task in this one....Bayern's only weakness is probably their center backs. A good night by Benz and we'll probably score a few. Hala Madrid. -------Carvajal---------------Pepe-----------Ramos---------------Coentrao ----Angel -----------Modric----------------Casemiro---------------Isco----- --------------------Benz------------------------------Bale---------------
I love Casemiro like the next guy, this however is not the game for him to be starting. Ronaldo is back in training so I think he'll play.
Unless Ronaldo isn't fit, I don't see him not playing. He is very ambitious and I'm sure he wants to break the UCL record ASAP. He has very little defensive work though so that would be a problem coming up against Munich.
If we didn't have this game to come then Ronaldo will have probably played against Barca, Ancelotti was talking about 'not taking risks' with his recovery before that CdR final, i.e. they want him fully fit for the CL. Plus he was training this morning, he'll play and we'll be a better team for it. The key imo is once again with Xabi, last game against Barca he was fine, but he has been quite sloppy in some of the big games this season and we've been hurt badly by it. Hopefully this 6 day rest will be enough for him to re-energise to give a Xabi-esque performance.
---------------Casillas--------------- -Carvajal--Ramos-Pepe--Coentrao Di Maria--Xabi--Modric-----Isco -----------Bale---Ronaldo--------- Play the same way we played against Barca. It's hard to drop Benzema but I think Ronaldo and Bale's pace will hurt their backline more. We have to be direct. Defensively solid. We can't concede an away goal. If we play 4-3-3 with Ronaldo we will get massively outnumbered in midfield. Bale and Ronaldo should put pressure on Bayern's pivot and track back but in attack they should be fluid and switch positions and attack from the wings.
Just an FYI, but Ramos and Xabi Alonso will be suspended with another yellow. No one else is in danger.
If that's what you got from what I explained then you're too stupid to help... maybe even acknowledge. I've definitely wasted my time with this response.
Any idea about the ref? Hopefully, not someone who gives cards easily. Can never be too careful against Pep's team.
Very classy...then again who am I to talk. Hope Bale has the game against these ********ers Wednesday night.
For me you play with no CF's. Benzema should be behind Ronaldo and we should only play counter-attack. That's what I would do. Bale will help defend and occasionally be used as an outlet.
Whoa whoa tough Internet guy. Take a deep breath and relax, you may have to flex those tough Internet muscles later tonight. To be fair it is funny, and funny is worth some points.
They should keep the same line up. The same people that were complaining about the line up are still complaining this week. Right now is not the time to experiment and they beat Barcelona with a line up that many didn't like. Why change it now? Only change it with the exception of CR coming back. If he doesn't come back, you play the same.

Tough internet guy >>>>> internet village idiot That is good news. We need him to be pinpoint when we're in our phases of attack.
A little friendly advice. You are what you are in this world. Pretending to be cool doesn't work because everyone sees right through it. It makes you look like an idiot.
