I actually considered using Ronnie and Raul but think that if we put still active players in here, it will blur the distinction between this and the other thread. The same goes for figo and Carlos. I haven't done a Zizou one as there are so many in the main forum, but would have no objection if someone wants to post some. I wanted the thread to be a historical one rather than contemporary.

Casillas in the beach with his GF = NSR. Compilations of goals scored by RM legends = SR. However, I appreciate that this thread is good stuff. I'll move it to the main forum and I'll listen to suggestions about what to do with it. We could make it a sticky but then we'd have to unstick the Castilla thread. Lemme know.

I've seen lots of threads moved to NSR but never one moved from there to the main board, and imo, this thread delivers and deserves it. We'll just have to keep it around by adding appropriate videos and it would be great if there were also interesting comments about what is on the videos. Thanks laudrup.

That's fine laudrup, the only reason I put it there was because I envisaged it as being totally seperate from the current team and to avoid confusion with the video thread...but its all good. As an after thought I suppose we could add a few biographies of ex players (copied or written ourselves) here and create a proper legends thread...what does everyone think? The first just showcases and displays his tricks and techniques, while the other has a little more emphasis on his overall game. Edit: mostly during his time at Madrid.

Ok, something a bit special now, the full 1 hour 22 minutes of El Siglo Blanco, the official film celebrating Madrid's centenery and telling the story of those 100 years. Audio is Spanish but even non-Spanish speakers should find the footage entertaining enough.
