Yeah, the original colorway that were mostly Orange were recalled and Nike pushed back the release date of the Superfly altogether. The first pair to release were the Black/Volt in August and then the Platinum came out in October.
http://www.footy-boots.com/superfly-release-date-6841/ soccer.com had them for pre-order but they took them down out of nowhere. then the original colorway was replaced by this one
im pretty sure that was just a sample/pre-release colorway that was never intended to be sold. a case of bad lighting imo
^ i had a pair. iif they were never released to the public, then Nike sure did mess up. I had a pair with a cracked carbon fiber sole, and nike took them back as defective. i had purchased these brand new off ebay for $125.
which proves my point correct? That they are pretty rare boot. For whatever reason that colorway never made it to the consumer...
the pds pic is the right pic. those were released. stephen ireland wears them. sorry to cause confusion, but i was talking about the top pic.
http://www.footy-boots.com/superfly-release-date-6841/ Recalled may not be the exact word as the initial colorway didn't get to consumers yet, but retailers had to send back shipments if they got them already. As for the debate about the platinum colorway making it to the consumer, I know for a fact they were on nikestore.com for their October release, but can't say if I remember them being taken down. I also can't really recall seeing too many people either in person or on the internet that have the colorway so they may be hard to come across. Quglie does have them though on eBay.
You don't understand it was never a real boot. It's the same colorway shown above on PDS just a bad Photoshop job by whatever website put it up. It's not a special boot at all just a shitty Photoshop job by some second rate football shop.
lol did you not see someone wearing that colourway in the world cup? i did but i dont know which team it was and when they first came out dani alves used to wear them. if i can find pics of them ill upload it meaning that...THEY ARE REAL BOOTS
http://www.soccerbible.com/news/gen...ational-football-boots-spotting-13-08-09.aspx would you like to tell luis fabiano his boots were fake then if it was "never a real boot" cheers k
you are misunderstanding us. there was a platinum/red colorway. the first picture(first one on previous page) that looked white and poor quality was not an actual colorway. that was supposed to look like the platinum colorway (second one on previous page). you can tell its not an actual pic because it(first pic) has heel pads and the sole is clear, not dark like the second pic. btw, fabiano is wearing platinum vapors, not superflies
The top picture on the previous page is of the real Superfly, it is just a stock photo though that has the wrong colored sole plate, just the same way we saw Vapor VI's before the release both with and without the NikeSense stud. Point is, the platinum Superfly did release to the public, but they seem to have been a less popular buy than all the other colorways and therefore seem to be hard to get your hands on and somewhat rare.
THEY'RE ALL THE SAME GENERAL RELEASE COLORWAY! There's nothing special about that boot. Just googling Mercurial Superfly you get http://compare.ebay.com/like/140433...f31082f&itemid=140433547504&ff4=263602_263632 http://compare.ebay.com/like/150469...f31082f&itemid=150469746616&ff4=263602_263632 They might have been released in smaller numbers than other Superfly colorways but they're not(I repeat not) rare at all.
Ok so these superflys were never released? white base coat, platinum, red These were released instead Platinum base coat, white, red And NO they are not the same boot. And NO it wasn't a bad picture/lighting etc. They are 2 different colorways.
I'll tell you this one more time if you don't understand you're just a lost cause. It's called a BAD PHOTOSHOP JOB. Some retailer didn't have the boots yet but still wanted to put them up on their site so they made that and put it up. It was never a real colorway, it was never produced, and never will be. You saying those are real is like saying these are real.
the same thing happend with another pair of boots... oh yea the red adipure pics had them with black studs others had white
Just wondering, how rare are these http://imgur.com/a/31JRN/chrometrainers/1 And around how much would they go for? Also that photoshop with the multicolor superflys are so nice haha
thank you i wouldn't of made such a deal about it but that pic was on a legit site. soccer.com is a well known site.. and thats exactly where i found it.
I have the platinum superflys with black carbon soleplate... I've never seen the ones on the first pic...
