No confusion at all. I really appreciate the feedback.

I worked with Desha when she came up - like literally from the first day of her career. Fabian Pierre also got his start with Desha at WIN TV.

Fabian's delivery is superb - I think he's probably the best anchor in the country when it comes to delivering when everything is perfect. He loses composure a bit when it all goes to shit. Last I checked at 6 he was doing the noon newscast. He's got some issues though, because he's a perfectionist and he's had some plagiarism issues in the past when 'writing' scripts.

I like Desha - if anything, her speech is slightly over pronounced. But she's excellent when all is well and she's damned good when things go wrong.

Charlene Ramdhanie is the anchor you'd want with you in a fight. Like a literal fight. She's badass. Also, of the people reading news in Trinidad right now, she's got the most experience as a reporter - she's probably the 3rd best in the country overall behind Desha and Roger Sant. Roger reads sports but he'll do news when called on and his delivery is not perfect - but if you have to go live or if shit goes wrong, he's the guy you want in the hot seat. You can almost never tell when something is wrong with him and I've seen him work 2-3 hour breaking news sets without a single line of script ever crossing his desk.



Lopez is a very good shout. I've not actually seen/heard much from him, but when I have - he's been good.

Look out for Kejan Haynes in the coming months. Young buck has got potential - very VERY good reporter who is getting a shot at reading from time to time.

I'm so relieved you didn't mention Sampson Nanton or Samantha John.

Wow, you almost make me want to get into TnT media the way you just broke everything down there. Swag. The next time I go down we'll discuss more over a beer or 3.

As for Desha, that's another thing I forgot to mention that I liked about her. When the SHTF she's really good at improvising and not missing a beat. I remember one time I thought Samantha John was about to have a nervous breakdown when some clips got mixed up.






Ps. Sampson Nanton sounds like he has permanent nasal congestion. Ew.





Pps. Samantha John is a basket case. I'd be surprised if she could tie her own shoelaces.

Nanton shouldn't be on the air at all. He's got all kinds of skeletons in his closet. Sammie Joe is a tactical deployment. She's a radio DJ as you probably know and is very popular among some segments of the population. She's also one of very few presenters of African descent on the air now.

Next years housing situation seems to have hit a snag. Does anyone know of a social network of some sort for finding potential college roommates? Just looking for unexplored options, I might try craigslist if it comes to that.

What college you going to? I thought most universities had some sort website online to find one?.

Cal Poly (SLO). I'm looking for off campus housing and most of my friends already have their living arrangements set up or are graduating this year.

I cannot stand it when I am on the freeway, and a car has their turn blinkers on the whole time and they do not even know about it. It causes disruptions because drivers create space for them to get into a their lane.

I love this video, the cop does one of the things I hate most in the world, when people are asked a question with a simple specific answer and instead of answer they say some unrelated bullshit back.

They guy asks him point blank many times and the cop does nothing but piss fart about.
