--I miss his show Take Home Chef. The angry, bewildered looks he got from husbands always amused me. I wish it existed in today's era of porn parodies.

--I might try making crock pot chicken and dumplings this weekend.
--I got an extra hour of sleep last night and I've been sleepy all day.

--Went to see Jeff Mangum with Pete last night. Amazing stuff.

--Speaking of amazing, last night's Parks, and the Jaguars not ruining my life by actually doing something smart in the draft.

-- Hopefully you turned down the roofie smoothie he offered you after the show.

-- Wondering what to cook this weekend. Maybe get the wok out and make a soy sauce-less stir-fry?

-- Don't laugh. It can be done.

Ahhh. Yeah, not the best photo. It just looks awkward. She's not heavy by no means, but she does have a little extra, and her height doesn't do her any favors.

No, they don't. Because no one wants to eat what they're cooking.

    :p

    Iason!

Did you hear that the MBV catalog has been remastered and is being reissued over the next month? I'm curious to see if it sounds any different. Also, my copy of Loveless needs replacement anyway.

I find more things to love about you everyday.

And I totally mean that in a way that isn't creepy at all.

-- I always thought that it might would be kinda neat to go to a ComicCon/DragonCon thing and listen to some of the panels. After watching just 10 minutes of a panel discussion (with Mary McDonnell) I'm very uncomfortable. She's great, she loves her fans, they love her ... I guess maybe I never quite got the whole 'posing/speaking/meeting' with celebs thing. Or maybe it's because it seems like Sci-Fi geeks are all the same everywhere. I dunno. Just kind of awkward all around.

I think I'd like to go for the people watching. I wouldn't be able to converse with them without going all Triumph the Insult Comic Dog on them, though.

I have. I'm all over it. This will be my 5th copy of Loveless. 3 scratched, 2 stolen. I can't get excited about Shields hinting at new material, though. Do it or don't, nah mean?

Yeah, he's been talking about new material for the past 20 years. This is worse than Duke Nukem Forever. I'll believe it when I see it, and not one second before.

I would love to dig into your CD collection sometime. Especially since I no longer have the opportunity to dig into Ross'.

Just finished "Art of Fielding" - I liked it a lot, but it wasn't the book to read right after I finished 'Freedom'. Can we start liking books that aren't sprawling, multi-character epics?

34mins after 52mins..... (post time minus 15mins for time it was when I wrote this line)

Some douchenozzle tried to add my bank account on their PayPal. It seems thy got my online banking login and went through there to get act number. Thank god I have a PayPal which has had my account on as it red flagged the mofo as a duplicate. My bank also were amazing and locked my account cos of suspicious activity which turns out to be abnormal logins. I was traveling and logged in from dif places but apparently they were not the ones that raised flags. Knock on wood everything is sorted now but shitty start to the week/may

    Happy Beltane btw

Do you know this feels much more violating than the break in 6months ago? At least w that I knew how it happened and it was all little stuff etc. this online shit is like a ghost
    Or something. Impersonal.

My cough is still pretty bad and still stuffed up. My 2 weeks of antibiotics (obtained from doctor in England I had to go to out of hours emergency clinic for a prescription. I slept a ton after getting back from England. I just couldn't wake up) ends in 2 days. Luckily I see my ENT dr on Thursday so hopefully he can figure this out and get me well... After 4+ months of this not quite well, to, pretty darn sick back and forth I'm so completely over it I don't know how else to say it :-/

The Funeral was really tough but I loved seeing all my siblings together again for the first time in 12 years! Plus I got 3 bonus days with Sammie and my nephew. That little boy is so adorable and not just physically cute but his personality. He is one of the happiest babies I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. :)

    I need a haircut
