-- When will Bradley learn about putting metros anywhere near the USMNT backline?
-- Still kinda miss Portland. Will have to try that reindeer sausage food cart when I get back there.

Yeah, this city has that effect on people

That line alone should get Bonnie to come visit.

We'll find you a döner cart, as well. Hell, is there any food on the planet that doesn't have a food cart here?

--Ok, seriously, this sleep deprivation is getting to dangerous levels. Whose leg do I have to hump to get some flexeril around here?

Reindeer is one of my favorite foods. My favorite snack used to be reindeer cheese and crackers. Reindeer sausage and gouda cheese. so tasty.

People see these photos and they think that they're way out in the country. They don't realize that these sites are only half an hour from downtown Portland.

I want to do Portland again just for the food carts.

    Possibly also for the people.

Still, gourmet food carts are probably the only newish food trends that I've really embraced in the last few years.

    -Brewers!

-Sorry, Tiger, but the Mets suck something awful this year. Even when our bullpen implodes, they found a way to lose.

    - Put it on the Underhill tab.

    - Denver has tons of quality food carts & trucks now.

    - Last day in Kauai. I'll probably have sand in my ears for a couple of weeks after the pounding I took surfing.

    - Hot guides on the kayak, zip line and hiking yesterday. Hiking by ourselves to a hidden beach tomorrow.

    - My skin is falling off.

    - I've had some great meals (don't worry Suke, I'll get you the details on all the best spots for when you head out) but my favorite was the cookout with Daric's local friends from college

    - Saw where Indy swung out into the river at the start of Raiders yesterday. Found an awesome swimming hole in the mountains and did some jumps from 30 feet above.

    - I like my new board shorts.
    - Had to call the Market early today to reserve some Lau Lau for lunch.

    - Scorpion kick!

    Aloha, Pete.

Thanks and no worries - I won't be there for another year, most likely.

Seriously, if I don't start getting a decent night of sleep soon, I'm gonna hurt somebody.

    --Somebody other than Barb, obviously.
--Great, now I'm writing like Peter King. That's obvious proof that I need sleep. Sort of.

Can you tell me about coffee at Dallas Fort Worth airport?

Still, better Peter King the writer than Peter King the New York Congressman.

Why? Did he tweet pictures of his King?

-- All things considered, I think I'd prefer a knife to the ass over Kenny Loggins. That reduces to a knife to the forearm if we're talking Loggins and Messina. Still, the knife over that crap.

-- Did the going to a lesson before work thing today. It wasn't bad. I only have to come in an hour later than I normally would. Granted, that means I have to be up at 6 a.m. instead of 9-10 a.m., but it wasn't bad. Even if I pouted the entire 50 miles to the barn.

-- I was cantering back in March, then took a long break due to work. Came back in April for 2 weeks, then out 2 weeks, back a week, then out another week due to whatever. So, I haven't been cantering at all as of late. My trainer asked if I wanted to do it today and I passed on it. She told me if I didn't canter on Monday, she'd take my stirrups away. So, I'll be cantering again on Monday ...

-- I just realized I started this post over 2 hours ago. I think that means it's time to go home.

GIS / GF is out of town for drill weekend. But here are my weekend plans nonetheless.

    Tomorrow night: yoga

Saturday: 7:45 am yoga because I like the particular class. Then a bike loop ride of 30-45 miles, depending on route. 40th Birthday party at night.

Sunday: Go watch The Last Mountain. An old friend from Boston is part of the team that produced it. A yoga class, and I really need to begin studying for ITIL before my company gets ticked off at me. Most people at my client have the Foundations Certificate, I do not.
