Maryland kicks off in 45 plus minutes, they win, next week at Boston College is for a trip to the ACC championship game. A Florida State win, and the Terps can only play spoiler for BC next week. BC gets the only real touchdown drive of the game with 1:12 left to win 24-21. Yup, that was the only real touchdown drive. Wake's three TDs: 2 on defense, 1 on a 1 yard drive set up by a blocked punt. BC's first touchdown was on an INT return. American College Football is crazy like that.

Edit: Tim Brando just said on CBS that BC-Maryland would be for everything. But FSU is 4-3 right now, Maryland is 4-2. FSU wins then Maryland beats BC next week, both are 5-3, BC is 4-4, FSU wins tiebreaker. Yeah, this is nuts in the ACC this year.

UVA had it all out there for them - but their continued inability to recruit a decent quarterback really hurt them this year.

That is unfortunate for the Wahoos - even with North Carolina giving a game to them, it doesn't look like they're going bowling. But Duke was up 3-0 at VA Tech late in the first half so you never know. I'm probably not trying to tickets to the bowl game if it's Clemson.

It's too bad the ACC got its 9 bowl eligible teams - maybe Notre Dame could have got the DC Bowl.

Yeah, if it's Clemson-Navy, I will probably skip it - though the temptation to go and cheer for Navy might be too much to resist. I can't stand Clemson.

Regardless of the unemployment that it would cause, I'd be happy if the diamond industry were to collapse, because that would hurt the Jews.
