--Where do all the ice cream trucks go in the winter? --All of the black men on Walking Dead must be Highlanders.
I had the "golden fried shrimp" at an airport restaurant at LAX two days ago, and yesterday my poop was a shade of yellow that is not found in nature. Let that be a cautionary tale to the rest of you. Food coloring is not your friend, and neither are the restaurants at LAX.
So I finally got around to watching the pilot episode of Freaks & Geeks. The credits roll and Lizzy Kaplan is "Girl #1". Who was she?
I had to IMDB it, but she was one of the girls Eli asked to the homecoming dance, right? Also, I love how Jason Segel, Seth Rogen and James Franco haven't aged a day.
That sounds right. Haven't seen it in awhile. Found this article interesting: http://splitsider.com/2012/05/the-lost-roles-of-freaks-and-geeks/
--Pretty sure Jason Segel came out of the womb as a twenty-something. --I've been to Arby's once in the past two or three years and I still have twenty packets of Horsey sauce in my fridge.
Add Busy Philipps and Lizzy Caplan to the "hasn't aged" list. I think Seth Rogen got younger. Also, is this where the backlash to the Black Keys starts, or has it started already.
I do think that Segel has aged. He definitely looks more worn on HIMYM. It started already but I still dig them. Of course, I like their older, bluesy stuff much better than their newer arena rock blues stuff.
They're like a better version of the John Spencer Blues Explosion. I actually avoided them for a while because they were Cleveland NBA fans who said not-nice things about Rasheed Wallace.
So, Tijuana winning the Mexican championship got me to notice something, namely, that there is a shit-ton of Americans Abroad. Club situations that used to be automatic starting positions for the US now are barely getting call-ups. I realize I'm not as long into the team as some people, but good Lord is this a dramatic change.
--I've been recording them but I've only made it through the first episode. I hope this doesn't turn out to be another dull season.
I know, and there's usually one on ESPN.com as well, but the damn thing's getting almost too long to read sometimes. Of course, I'm posting this as I watch AS Roma and Michael Bradley play. -Company Christmas party last night at a VERY fancy hotel here. The wife and I spent the night, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience.
Out of everything he ever did, the one that impressed me the most as a kid was when he ran on the outfield wall. The guy was so fast and so strong, he could run parallel to the ground, even for a few steps.
Oh look, Katt Williams got arrested again. I could get arrested as often as he does if had his motivation to succeed at whatever I try.
So work was super slow, so I decided to play hooky and go watch Skyfall. So of course I have a barrage of emails and voicemails when I leave the theater. But also job leads! I should do this more often.
