I know we have all mentioned the potential candidates we would like to see in the long run- Jose, Moyes, Klopp, Guus, Clarke and possibly a few other options as well in Laudrup, Simone, Zola, Poyet and Petrescu but as they are currently employed if we are to get rid of FSW we may have find someone else in the Interim and the following folks are out of work or have possible immediate avialability atm. Keep in mind this is just a throwing of names around so dont freak out too much eh Crazy Sven Goran Eriksson- not a fan at all and perhaps a move where we would gain very little Glen Hoddle- great stuff for the rags every week Dennis Wise- perhaps someone who can see eye to eye with Mata and Marin Andriy Shevchenko- has expressed an interest in moving into Management as he was recently offered the Ukraine job. Allegedly well liked by Roman. Possible Felix Magath - perhaps a little too heavy handed for our group Avram Grant- vomits Paolo DiCanio- looking for a way out of Swindon and loves the media Cesare Prandelli- not sure he would want a short term gig or the Italian FA would approve it tbf Joachim Low- see above Mano Menezes- not sure how another Brazilian would fare in the job but we have quite a few in the squad atm Frank Rijkaard- he is available and has been linked to the job in the past Nigel Adkins- recently sacked by Soton. His sides play very attractive football, he did a lot with a little and the players really seemed to like and support him. Laurent Blanc- available with a pretty solid CV Steve Holland/Eddie Newton- not a lot of Managerial experience between them but they are both familiar and well liked by the players
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck really felt I'd wake up to find salvation was afoot
Who says Rafa does not know how to get firsts First loss at West Ham away in 10 years First loss against QPR at home in 30 years First loss at Newcatsle away in 7 years
rumours of FSW being called in on Monday to explain the current results sadly I think he leaves with his job still intact
Rafa's job was safe until now. I dont mean the string of draws/losses and general pisspoor quality of our play. We have been 3rd in spite of that for how long now? If Spurs (and Everton et al) continue to creep up on (they are now 1 point behind) I think Rafa was safe but once we are overtaken/fall out of the 4th altogether that is when we will see action taken by the board/Roman. Until there are actual consequences of his poor management/leadership he stays but given how the league is this year our very poor performance may just see us finish out in third and thus stuck with FSW. Rafa just become the biggest Everyone But Spurs Fan.
So TFO refers to Liverpool as 'us' in the PC. Was asked about Carragher & TFO responded "he was good for us".
Rednose first, RDM 8th (despite the manu and scouse nonsense) down down down dowm 22 Rafa "Managerial league table 2012-13: Who leads the way?" http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21372441
What does it take to get this imbecile fired? Riots? Pitchforks at the doors of the hotel? Pirate attacks on Roman's yacht(s)?
After the performance today, it needs to happen, don't care how things finish out. The board clearly made a mistake in firing RDM, now attempt to make it right by canning this fraud who's our manager now. Regarding today, we were abysmal today. IMO, that falls on the manager as we just didn't look up for it and looked to have tired legs. We played on Thursday FFS, so why would Ram who was our worst player today, play the full 90 minutes and Hazard, our 2nd best player who played 20 minutes on Thursday get subbed out. He's an idiot, and today it showed itself to me. We are managed by a clown.
I just don't see it happening. I keep tweeting #RafaOut, but he's not listening But seriously, if he hasn't been sacked yet, the last chance we have at him getting sacked is when we're sitting out of the top 4, out of the Europa League, and out of the FA Cup.
At which fecking point is pointless. I don't think the lads respond to him well which is neither here nor there I guess. If they fire him when we're out of the top 4 I'll go bat shit crazy.
We're only 2 points from 5th place. Looking at our fixtures, I fully expect to get full points through March, but who knows anymore.
This entire season has been such a complete mess that anytime I start to think it can't get any more weird... it does. I can understand getting rid of DiMatteo, IF his replacement was adequate. I will forever love DiMatteo, but the farther we get away from his term as manager the greater his record as Chelsea manager becomes. He was treated horribly on his way out but bringing in Benitez only enhanced the reaction to him getting the chop. Rafa is not adequate, not at this club at least. But really until Chelsea fans are willing to say Roman's money isn't worth decisions like Rafa as manager, I find all the banners and booing a little hollow. Either a couple FSW-esque decisions are ok in exchange for £1,000,000,000, or what the club "stands" for is more important. Chelsea Football Club was unknown to me up until I "found" football the season following the 2006 World Cup so a more experienced supporter can answer that question. But until that question is answered by the supreme majority nothing will change. Because the entire world knows this club is run from the owner down, and who knows if even a completely empty Stamford Bridge would sway Roman from running the club the way HE sees fit.
Rafa go already. JT for interim player manager, might be the only spark and chance at smart starter and subs decisions that can get us over the CL line at his point Gameweek Opponent 28 Apr 15:00 Gameweek 35 Swansea (H) 05 May 16:00 Gameweek 36 Man Utd (A) 08 May 19:45 Gameweek 36 Tottenham (H) 11 May 12:45 Gameweek 37 Aston Villa (A) 19 May 16:00 Gameweek 38 Everton (H)
