Hmmm... yea we'll see how much his yearly salary is.

But to put things into prospective, Henry is getting 8million USD YEARLY salary. MLS will have to release his info (marquez's) as thats how it works here in the US, compared to latin america where salaries arent widely put out to the public.

But yea, my guess, with RBNYs deep pockts, I'd assume the 5 million USD is just straight salary figure. Thats pennies for them.

MLS will NOT have to release the salary info. MLS is not a publicly traded company, so they don't have to release it if they don't want to. That isn't how it works here in the US. Most salaries of pro athletes don't get publicized, but rather they get leaked one way or another.

    ESPN commentators are dumbasses... lol

And screw you guys I'm buying a Rafita shirt as soon as I can. It's all right... the yellow on the front does throw me off a bit but I'll survive. Also getting a Nery one.

I see the MLS will do good for Marquez' fitness but that's pretty much it. You can tell right away the players that know what to do with the ball(Angel, Henry and Marquez)...besides that the rest of the players play a very basic safe pass to the side gameplan...you can see Marquez will be running the show

I don't see how this league is a good fit for Rafa. Not only is he by far the most skilled player in the team but the league is just terrible skillwise in everything even defense. Plus it looks like it a incredible rough league and with Marquez injury trouble, I would worry about him.
