We need to settle down. While the MLS is not the greatest league in the world by any stretch, it's competitive enough to keep Rafa active and keep/get him in great shape. This will help us short term on the NT, Rafa isn't going to learn anything new in any league so playing in the MLS can keep him in shape. Thisdoesn't take away what Rafa has done in his career nor what he can give to the NT the next couple of years.
Even though I wanted him to go to Italy I do not think this is a bad move. He has won everything there is to win at the club level. So now he is securing his financial future and also his humanitarian work. We as fans are being selfish but Rafa is very smart and knows what he is doing. I will definitely watch more MLS now and might even attend a game now
If he is indeed getting 25 million. We all know a good part of that will go to his humanitarian efforts.
LoL.....I'll be honest....I'd like to see the Rafa tackle on Nery. Let's see if the energy drink gives Rafa some wings.....
On the plus side. Atleast he'l be playing in my hometown. Sux for everyone else tho lol. Im goin to a game or two if the ticket prices are reasonable.
This probably means more PT to either Caceres or one of our defenders from La Masia(most probably Muniesa) & that Milito is healthy again. I'm really sad to see him leave Barca, I guess he didn't want to be Puyol or Pique's back-up, I guess he's ready for a new challenge.
Ill bet anyone anything that he'll retire in Atlas. Even if the club is in debt, he'd do it for free. Unless they went to second division. Then bets off
