Porto is up 3-1, with about 5 minutes to go. Looks like Falcao scored two goals today. Watched the Udinese-Napoli game so missed this one.

Both with his head out jumping defenders according to Record. Watched the last 20 m and this was a crazy game!

Guarin also looks to have played a great game.

Falcao might lead all Europe in goals scored by header. Is there way to look up those stats?

Never seen that stat anywhere - but his tally is even more remarkable when you consider his height. He just skies over these people.

Thing with that is that its great execution on the crosses (ace wing play) and terrific timing (you need practice for that). I hope that we'll get both for the Copa America.

I agree with everything, but I would also like to note that he seems to dive head in first to balls that other strikers will chase with their feet, usually a couple of feet of the ground... I mean, that probably gives him and edge over the defender since he is propeling himself forward with both legs (instead of one). It also shows a greater confidence in his ability to properly direct his headers over his footers..

For his career (in 191 games):

56 goales with his right foot
21 goals with his left foot
    32 goals with his head

A nice balance. His website has terrific statistics:

Arsenal sucks especially if they get rid of Cesc that team is very colombian as they are underachievers so they would not be good for him. Falcao wanted by all the big teams that actually play for something for him to go to Arsenal would be stupid. He is better off at Tottenham who actually want to get better, also think Falcao at 25 might be too old for Arsenal.

Hold out for Inter, Real or Man United

That's ridiculous. You don't qualify consistently to the Champions league and challenge for the top spot in the Prem if you suck.

The reason Arsenal would be a perfect fit is that they've never replaced the aerial threat that Adebayor brought to them and need an upgrade at 9 in order to overtake United. Spurs have made the CL 1X and are struggling right now to qualify again (whereas Arsenal is a lock and far ahead of them in the table).

I think either would be better than his going to Inter or Real because they have solid '9's already and he wouldn't be filling a need in the same way.

By your logic, Real would suck because they get thwarted by Barca the same way that Arsenal gets thrwarted by United every year. The fact is that these are all great teams and it'd be an honor for him to play at any of them - what matters though is that he go somewhere where he can make a difference, my biggest concern is his going somewhere that doesn't fit his style or have a direct need for his.

As I said for Guarin (and got a little mixed up in that thread), there's only a bunch of teams that he should be considering... He cannot go to a team where he's going to be the third or fourth option like Real, Barca, Inter, ManU, Bayern... He cannot move to a team that is not going to be in either Champions or Europa League.. And it has to be a top 4 league, either EPL, Spain, Calcio or Bundesliga, maybe Lyon or Marseille and that's it.. That leaves him with probably 10 or 15 possible clubs.. Unless the money is insane, he's better in almost every aspect by staying at Porto for another season or two.

I would love Falcao to go to Real Madrid! they don't have a stable #9.

Benzema was only starting to catch his groove, and he got injured,
Pipita is a horrible player, I rate Falcao way above Pipita.
Ade was great when at Arsenal, but in Real has not impressed much.

BTW the Cules do not thwarted Real. They blow monkey balls.. (I just hate them.. arggh )

Anyhow I think Mourinho/Perez should buy Falcao, imagine how he will be scoring with the passes of the likes of Ozil, and Xavi Alonso.

Looks like Porto just took a 3-0 (3-2 aggregate) lead on Benfica. Falcao with the last goal.

This team is unreal this year!!!

do they have the away goals rule in Portugal, cause it's 1-3 now, tied on aggregate with Porto leading in the away goals.

I am watching the Barca-Madrid game with the Porto game on a ticker.
