lol you should of seem them, do you plan on comit suicide? Do you like flowers, do you think there is a complot against you... I was like
Great match for El Tigre. What a different player from what we get in NT. It's taken Messi YEARS to finally showing similar talent in NT. I'm hoping it doesn't take Falcao the same
Anyway now that i have seen the game: 1) First goal was pure genius. He cleverly got passed his man and chipped it over the GK for an easy goal. Brilliant. 2) Fantastic goal BUT it should not have counted cause the guy who crossed it to him was offside. Still a killer shot/ one time reaction. 3) Penalty. Always makes me mad seeing him take a penalty since he missed one against Peru.
I hate when people say 'Falcao sucks in the NT...' Falcao shows his quality every single time he plays for Atletico. He's one of the best strikers in the whole world. If he doesn't score in the NT maybe there is something wrong in the NT. And if you are not blind you can see he doesn't even get the ball when playing for Colombia. If Atletico played as bad as Colombian NT in the last few games, he wouldn't score there either. All I'm saying is that it's not fair to blame Falcao when the problem is obviously somewhere else. The past 10 years have been terrible for the Colombian NT. I can't remember anybody scoring goals consistently in the NT. This thread is not about the colombian NT so I'm not going to talk more about that. Falcao could score 30 goals this season if everything goes well and he doesn't get injured. Next friday he will be playing against Chelsea, that will be interesting!
It is unfair to say Falcao sucks. I will give you that. That said, he has not been perfect and has missed some chances he should have buried. And arguably in his biggest match he could have put Colombia in the Semifinals of the Copa America he failed on a penalty. It is hard for me to forgive him for that.
He is the face of the NT just like JPA was. Both are f'd because of Colombias fickle fans. Falcao can take us to the World Cup be the top scorer but Asprilla is still better because he was in the 1994 team and because Falcao didn't win us the World Cup. Fine he missed that PK but we lost 2-0 not 1-0. Our shit defense/MF/goalie cost us the game. A striker can't score unless they give him the ball and I always seen FAlcao win a ball in MF to try to score which is shocking especially if you see him at club level. WE need to play for Falcao not have Falcao play for us
Wonderful cover page article on ESPN's Soccernet touting Falcao as the best "9" on the planet! http://soccernet.espn.go.com/blog/_/name/tacticsandanalysis/id/64?cc=5901
Me parece que a esta hora varios en Chelsea lloran no haberle metido la plata al traspaso. Monstruo!!!
