Not all of it has to do with Falcao being alone upfront.
When he gets his opportunities he fails for the most part. I dont know why, he just misses.

It comes to the point I think he should not start on the road. Like in the Bolivia match we should use him as a super sub who can score at the end.

He barely got any chances these last two games...only ones I can think of were the free header against Peru that he really should have scored, and the FK he took... other than that i dont think he got the support he needed in order to be effective

The truly great strikers take advantage of the minimal opportunities they get. Or they create something on their own out of nothing.

I guess I will have to be more patient since this is only his second official match under Pekerman but I if I dont see much improvement in September I think I will give up on him.

Um didn;t you see that the only time Falcao got to touch the ball was when he was defending on a free kick or running down to midfield to get the ball because the defense and the midfield did not do their job !!!

I like that we have so many attacking midfielders and strikers available but putting them all in at the same time does not work. Pabon might be better than other options but he is not a big game player and show'd it in CL. We need guys who don't crumble under pressure

Those of you that say Falcao should not be a starter on the NT are crazy or blind. The goal we score against Peru was part because of how Falcao moved outside the area luring both central defenders.

Falcao was easily the best player vs Ecuador when he received the ball, he showed class. Absurd.

hahahaha have you seen rooney with england in ? since 2004 euro, he can't to do nothing i an team that don't create him game (except san marino, luxemburgo, malta etc etc)........So is a s,hity player....

The same for cr7 in portugal.....

When you don't have a tactical order is very difficult.....and more when your striker partnership, prefer to shot to the goal, when is easier to pass you

Falcao isn't guilty of not playing in your fan league mexico....and if you are shitting him, because the header against peru......i can show up a list of how messi, cr7, rooney, ibra have failed in similar plays......

Exactly I get so mad when people talk badly about Angel. He was a beast and play'd so well for us but not his fault Pacheco and crew never wanted to give him the fing ball

It just gets very frustrating with Falcao in yellow. Yes he is working his arse, off, hustling and the service has not been the best. I have acknowledged that.

It is just when he misses a penalty in a huge spot of the Copa America and then goes into these games missing his only opportunities (including hitting them way above the target to the moon.) It gets to the point of me asking how much of this is psychological and the heavy camiseta and how much of it is his teammates? The truth has to lie in between somewhere and he has to start scoring soon to make me a believer.

People who give me this BS that the Colombian NT shirt is heavier than River Plate, Porto or Atletico make me laugh. Falcao was a record 47 million euro transfer and still had the balls to go out there and still break records to prove he was worth that transfer. Then I hear people with the same bs, the #10 jersey is way too heavy. Or James sucks/isn't ready for the #10 now once everyone wanted to give him a handjob after the Peru game.

We went to Ecuador to tie the game and bunker but did it badly. How else do you explain no shots at goal nor giving the ball to our CF during this game.

Falcao to be at Atleti for at least another year. I think I feel happy about this, I have to confess that I have started to like Atleti.
