His maturity plays a big part in all his problem. How do you in your right mind put on a A.C Milan jersey and say you love the team in public when you play for their biggest historic rivals. As for best strikers Dinatale n Cassano

Sadly no! Tacuara Cardozo scored twice today and will be top scorer. Sucks because Falcao had four clean goals disallowed throughout the year (which also incidentally helped pull Porto from the CL) but still 33 goals in his first european campaihn is great. Cardozo also played more games...

They both have 25 goals in the portuguese league so it's a tie.

Then soccernet.com is wrong. But I believe you. Where can we see how many penalties they had? I want Falcao to be better:D I'm desperate. I know.

    Cardozo 7 pens

    Falcao 3 pens

Penalties are goals though. The bigger issue is that Falcao had perfectly clean goals dissallowed for nothing and three of them would have been match winners.

That is, despite Porto's supposed slack of a season, they would have been in Champions and could have contested for the title today had our boy not been ripped off by shotty refereeing.

Not sure, but the Falcao disallows became a major story during the season BECAUSE they were game winning goals and the ties pulled Porto further and further down the table.

No need to wonder. Cardozo led the league in pen misses. Same link above. Take a look.

oh hes a beast... please bayern buy him... even a bayern squad that sells robben and ribery is a better side than t'ham n villa...

for his sake and that of the NT Falcao has to stay on a good team not a medicore one like t'ham or villa, staying @ Porto wod be better than those squads

I've heard Falcao asked the FED not to be called for the next friendly games.

If this is true I think there would be a big dissapointment for the new management team, and would give them a hughe excuse to have jackson as the number 1 option as center forward in front of everybody.

Makes sense that he'd ask not to be called - he's played a huge number of games this season due to injuries (Varela and Farias) and suspensions (Hulk) throughout the season he started in all of the tournies Porto would have faced when usually his back ups would have played them.

I really don't understand why anyone would need an excuse to place Jackson as a starter either - he has had a remarkable year himself. The fact that the FED has leaked the story about Falcao asking for the break is likely a move on their part to cut off any concerns when he isn't included in the call ups. He'll surely be part of their plans going forward given what he accomplished this year in Europe...
