Yeah, it's called "The Game Plan" and it's starring... Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. They started filming at Gillette on the 10th or 11th until Nov 1. And considering the Patriots don't play there again until Nov 5, the midfield logo, endzones, and "sidewalls" will look like they looked tonight until the 1st I'm assuming.
Are you effing kidding me?!!?? The Krafts have no respect for Revs fans, at all. Here we are with the worst field in the league (by a long shot) -- a field so bad that it really impacts the quality of play -- and instead of fixing the problem, the Krafts let the Rock film a movie there and further tear up the grass. They'd rather have that extra money than fix a huge problem with their main products (it certainly is affecting the Pats games, as well). Just goes to show that the Krafts have no respect for the fans.
I echo those sentiments whole-f'in-heartedly. I was beyond disgusted with that field and the fact that apparently this taping is going to end the week prior to the next Pats home game. In other words, even if we host the ECF, we'll still see that crap on the field.
The field's in awful, awful shape... maybe someone should send Kraft the clip of Paul Robinson from the England match where the ball hit a divot, went up over his foot and into the goal; the field can't be the deciding factor in the game. I don't expect anything to be done in time for the playoff match in two weeks, save for a fresh coat of paint being sprayed over the dirt in the middle of the field. The Magpie
They are filming that movie until nov 1. The only coat of paint will be Firetruck Red in the pealty area.
