A new idea is a new idea. Unless everything is what it isn't; ie windows orange/black screen is a GUI. You don't make up all of your own words to write a book. I know the ins and outs of windows VERY well and have for well over a decade and can say it's terribly annoying compared any MacOS. Despite his genius leading to a detrimentally narcissistic company in many ways, a creative evil island empire is much more respectable than and evil imperialist overlord (microsoft). The guy was amazing, and, being originally a mac guy (and I will be again when I win the lottery), I am very saddened that he didn't have a chance to work even more. And despite any negatives I think we can be proud that he's an American. If I had his same experience that he had in india, I have a feeling I'd finally be a linux convert, monetary status notwithstanding.
