Concacaf Futsal 2012 is this week. http://www.concacaf.com/page/Futsal/Home/

Canada qualified for the Concacaf finals yesterday. With the finals in Guatemala, Canada played El Salvador in a two-game series, with both matches played in GUA. Canada won the series 7-6, appearently scoring from mid-court (mid-field?) with five seconds left (after tie-ing the series with 15 seconds left).

Group A: Guatemala, United States, Panama, Canada
Group B: Cuba, Mexico, Costa Rica, St. Kitts and Nevis
Group matches Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. SF's Friday. Third and Final on Sunday. Four teams qualify for the Fifa Futsal WC (Thailand) in November: http://www.fifa.com/futsalworldcup/

I would rather see a nude picture of Rich Paschette than to watch FUTSAL.

You neglected to mention that, trailing 3-2 late in the game, the USA goalie TWICE gave the ball away in their offensive half, to have PAN walk in untouched for goals. (Although, you can wonder how it would have turned out if the PAN defender didn't make that one save off the line, to deflect the ball off the goalpost.) Highlights:

You can thank the 2010 revisions of the Futsal laws for this. The goalie must come past the halfway line to play the ball a second time in a row:

The rule also game into play in the GUA-CAN match (same highlight reel). With the CAN goalie (who takes the initial shot) still past the half-way line, the GUA goalie launces a full-court shot which hits the net on one bounce. (Nice duck by the GUA defender so that the goalie could get the shot off.)
