To be honest, I don't know. I say Beijing Guoan even though they were lower on the league table last year. Both are a bit poor this year considering the expectations due to their new managers.

Shandong is just terrible this season. They should've never sacked Radomir Antic as there was no reason to fire him in the first place. Now their football is awful because of Cuca.

Liu Jian, confirmed by Lippi, can play for Evergrande now.
This is good news, especially Rene Junior is still banned.

Zheng Long is still injured. He will be going to have further operation in Italy.

it's still banned only for the AFC CH.

Zheng Long I see it's a offensive midfielder and Evergrande has plenty of quality up front. What kind of injury is? Anyway, I see Diamanti was substituted before HT vs Aerbin, it's a serious injury?>

Liu Jian is officially cleared to play for Evergrande; but he missed today's game against Tianjin because his documentation can't be submitted on time.
    Evergrande 5-2 Tianjin.
Li Weifeng got a red card on his 100th Tianjin game. Gao Lin scored both, Elkeson with a penalty, with Dong Xuesheng scoring the opening and Rong Hao adding one to the list.

    Guizhou 1-2 Beijing Guoan
Both team didn't use their best players because of crucial upcoming ACL games.

Is Zhang Jiaqi injured? He hasn't been featured at all for Aerbin yet, not even on the bench

Such a shame. He had so much raw talent and potential, but it seemed like he didn't have the mentality and workrate to keep it up.

    weird news:

a chinese guy who is a translator became a full-time football player at age 27 in china.

    http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/蔡镜源

    cai jingyuan
used to study in england, works as a translator for guangzhou rizhiquan, suddenly he don't want to be a translator and he became a football player.

he has eight matches and one goal in his name now. he tried to play for macau league a while ago, but he didn't feature.

makes me think what kind of people there are in jia-a lol...

Cai Jingyuan sounds like a inspirational guy  He reminds me of Rickie Lambert, Ian Wright and the great Tom Finney they were all average joe's who were late to the game but act as inspiration to the rest of us that we can all still make it if we follow our dreams. Good luck to him and I hope he does well :)

Guangzhou lost to Melbourne Victory 2-0 at away. Melbourne scored early and late in the match. Muriqui missed three or four golden chances to score against Melbourne. All teams in the group are now tied on 7 points. Guangzhou needs to win at home against Yokohoma F. Marinos to qualify for the knockout stage.

Guizhou lost 1-0 to Kawasaki Frontale at home. Some really questionable calls in the game as Sun Jihai's two yellow cards were dubious as well as Misimovic's. Also, there should've been a penalty called on a clear handball in the box. Very bad officiating all around. With that lost, Guizhou is now eliminated and can't qualify for the knockout stage,

Shandong played very poor against Buriram United at away, losing 1-0. Du Wei hit the crossbar with a header in the 70th minute. Very sloppy performance and it's probably their worst this season.

Beijing tied 2-2 against Sanfrecce Hiroshima at home. Shao Jiayi and Joffre Guerron scored, but a Sanfrecce player scored two in three minutes to tie it up.

Very poor round from the chinese teams, 3 losses and 1 draw. Thankfully for them most games this round ended up quite favourable so all teams except Guizhou still have a chance of qualifying and all teams have their fate in their own hands so it will be quite an interesting last round. Guangzhou and Shandong are facing Yokohama and Cerezo respectively at home while Beijing will have a difficult game away at Seoul.
Normally id say Guangzhou and Shandong are favourites to advance but both teams have been so disappointing thus far that i wouldnt be surprised to see both of them fail. Beijing has been decent so far but they face the hardest task away at Seoul so we might not have any chinese teams advance at all.....

By the way i think Guangzhou will advance with a draw regardless of the result in the other game, if both games end in draw Jeonbuk should also advance on superior goal difference. Shandong and Beijing however must both win in order to advance.

Woah, Guizhou lost 5-0 to Western Sydney Wanderers with their b-team. They used two starters, used no foreign players, and got thrashed.

well guangzhou evergrande beat yokahoma f marinos 2 - 1 to qualify to round of 16 in ACL, should've been 5-1 had Gao lin and Elkeson taken their chances.
