They just played poorly in both the offensive and defensive ends. Attack couldn't get going all game with bad link-up play and passing.

I've never tried the scalpers out front, I've always bought online. Just make sure you're in the same section as your buddy, because from my experience, entering the section of your ticket is enforced, even while actual row and seat numbers are not.

    Hi guys,
Hope someone can help me. I am an Australian football fan travelling in China. I can't read any Chinese at all and can only speak a little bit. I will be near Jinan on Friday and was hoping to go to the Shandong Luneng game.
Any advice on what to expect at the stadium and any hints etc would be much appreciated.
    Also how much are tickets?
    Thanks.

I don't think Guizhou has ever had such a low-attended CSL match before. I guess that's what happens when you host Shenxin on a Friday. Hope it's not a sign of things to come.

Zhang Linpeng relegated to Evergrande Reserve Team after busting with Lippi

Zhang Linpeng, one of the best defenders in China, has found himself in hot water for publicly lambasting Lippi on Weibo. Before the Evergrande 1-3 Changchun match, Lippi said Zhang will stay in Evergrande during his helm, and his "best players" will not leave Evergrande during his regime. This has disappointed "Zhangmos", as the Chinese fans would call Zhang Linpeng, as he often mentioned that he wants to play European football.

On Weibo, Zhang was seen to post "no matter how respectful my coach is, stopping my European future is not what a respectful coach should do". However, he took it down after ten minutes.

Zhang has recently played his 100th match for Evergrande, and it looks like he won't add his 101th match any time soon.

It was reported that Mei Fang will take over the right defender position, and Shanghai East Asia's Liu Yunqiu is on Evergrande's target.

Xu Genbao: Wu Lei has two contracts, one in China, and one in Spain
Xu Genbao, the Chairman of Shanghai East Asia, in recent general meeting that Wu Lei has another football contract in Spain. Xu has mentioned that due to Wu Lei's popularity, many clubs approached the club to acquire for the young player. Wu Lei was closely associated with Copenhagen FC last season; however, the young player decided to stay in the Shanghai club for his development.

However, it appears that Wu Lei has actually signed for Valencia during the winter season, and he is currently "on loan" to Shanghai East Asia. The contract did not mentioned how long Wu Lei has signed for; but he needs to return to Valencia during the start of the La Liga 2014 to 2015 season.

Many reporters asked why Wu Lei chose Valencia and not other teams. Xu adamantly mentioned that this has to do with financial reasons. He said Shanghai East Asia is proud to produce Wu Lei, but a club requires alot of money to operate for the next five years. Xu said there are three youth players that could be better than Wu Lei, but the club needs the money to nurture the rising stars.

Before closing, Xu Genbao said Valencia also approached Shanghai East Asia because Wang Jianlin, the Chairman of Wanda, is taking over Valencia. Wang Jianlin said he would only invest in Valencia if Wu Lei was signed, and up to ten Chinese U16 players could take part in Valencia youth development facility.

If Wu Lei does appear for Valencia, he will be the first Chinese player to play in La Liga.

Beijing lost 1-0 to Central Coast Mariners at away. Zhang Xizhe missed a penalty in the 68' minute and a few minutes later, one of the Mariners players scored from a nice volley in the box.

Guizhou won 3-1 against Ulsan Hyundai at home after being a goal down. Chen Zijie scored a brace and Qu Bo scored as well.

Guangzhou lost 1-0 at away to Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. Zheng Zhi was injured during the match and Jeonbuk had a man sent off for a second yellow, but Leonardo scored a goal for them.

Shandong lost 4-2 at home to Pohang Steelers. They were losing 4-0 at one point before substitutes Du Wei and Han Peng scored in the last 5 minutes of the match.

there's breaking news over the liu jian incident.

not confirmed yet, it seems jonoon's contract (of liu jian signed until 2017) is fake.

i personally hope it is fake, because jonoon has been hostile and acting like a bitch over the incident.

i still remember jonoon's letter to liu jian:
"we recommend you to be smart, be a bit political, and think about your family when you decided to stay at evergrande"

CSL is undoubtedly the top league in Asia when deal with average attendances. Pure class and I support Guangzhou Evegrande since watch them in FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP

For those who dunno, Rene Junior is banned for four CSL matches for showing the middle finger.

Today, a foreight East Asia player showed a middle finger again.

What's the the middle finger trend?

Lü Wenjun did it a couple weeks back as well. At his own team's bench while celebrating a goal!
