Yeah the attacking trio upfront were all quite poor in the first half. Muriqui seems to still be bothered by that small injury he picked up against Melbourne, he hasn't performed at all in the recent games. Elkeson didn't get much space and he was heavily marked all game so it's understandable he had a tough game. Harbin defended really well until Gao scored the second and Dori got sent off. After that it was clear that Harbin lost faith and Guangzhou just overwhelmed them.

Shandong tied 2-2 away against Pohang. Good results overall.

Pohang adjusted very well to the red card. Gave 110% until the end and forced Shandong into some mistakes.

Liao Lisheng already looks like a top player. Could be huge in the CSL in the near future.

Guizhou Renhe tied Ulsan Hyundai 1-1 at away. Ulsan scored with a penalty, but Yang Hao equalized in the 90th minute. Beijing Guoan beat Central Coast Mariners 2-1 at home. Shao Jiayi and Peter Utaka scored while the other team got a consolation through a penalty.

Shocking...Guangzhou Evergrande lost 3-1 at home to Changchun Yatai, their first loss at home since July 2012 against Guangzhou R&F.

Considering it was against a team that many thought would be fighting to stay out of relegation this season, it really is.

What happened in Guangzhou?? Are Changchun's cheerleaders that distracting?
