Wei had 1 stint with Ajax, but not at this moment. There's very little info on Wang so I can't really say. Ajax will play a friendly against AC Milan in Beijing next month and I expect him to make an appearance there. http://www.thebeijinger.com/blog/2013/04/26/footballs-coming-home-ac-milan-vs-ajax-beijing-may
If he can earn himself a contract with Ajax that would be absolutely fantastic. Ajax is world famous for their excellent youth academy
Zhang Jiaqi is starting again for Le Mans, flashscore lineups says hes playing left winger, dunno if true tho cuz they do mess up positions sometimes. Also Zhang Chengdong is yet again left out of the squad for Braunschweig, does anyone know if hes injured or just lack of form?
Caught the last 15-20 mins of Le Mans game, i can confirm Zhang was playing left winger and he played the whole game. Le Mans was toothless in attack despite Arles getting a player sent off in the 78th minute, they did hit the post in the last few minutes though. Zhang rarely had the ball and Le Mans were really wasteful with tons of misplaced passes.
I think so too. About him not scoring, i remember a Braunschweig fan posted here that he was converted to a defensive mid, which might be one of the reasons he has failed to score. Why he was converted to a defensive mid i have no idea, as he was doing pretty well as a striker in Beira Mar.
He wasn't on the squad - he did, however, get to sing a solo when the team was welcomed home: http://www.braunschweiger-zeitung.de/sport/launig-id983909.html?view=gallery&iArticle=983910 As for why he wasn't featured in the squad anymore lately - he was signed because he can play multiple positions. As striker, he is at best the no. 5 in the depth start when all are healthy. Kumbela and Ademi are locks to start, Merkel is usually first striker off the bench. Kruppke would probably be moved up front if Kumbela is injured, which means it's between Zhang and Korte for 5th striker. However, due to injuries Eintracht needed players either on the wings or in defensive midfield. Zhang played mostly as winger during the middle of the season, later he trained as d-mid (but didn't get into many games anymore on this position, only 1 or 2, since he has rarely played after the winter break). But then Eintracht signed Elabdellaoui during winter, the injured players came back and Vrancic got back into form. So there wasn't room for Zhang anymore, unfortunately. He never really stood out when he played, so there's no position where he would be first or second choice. I expect him to play during the last few games, though - at least once. Might be his farewell game then, since Eintracht likely won't exercise the buy out option.

UNCONFIRMED NEWS: Zhang Chengdong will return to Portugal after Germany. Most likely outcome is Zhang will play half season in Portugal and permanently transfer to another country. His agent will decide his fate.
C.D Mafra has certain Chinese investors in it now. For more information (assuming information is true), please read this link: http://bbs.hupu.com/5599324.html very interesting (and learned some sad insight of chinese players in portugal)
yes! apparently the guy in the post said he is purchasable because dalian shide has dissolved. the mafra-chinese guy also mentioned many youth players have "complicated contract issues" that discourage mafra to approach them.
from the post, the CD Mafra guy said the club is also "considering approaching" Hong Kong football clubs too. he said "if Hong Kong has any talented youth players, we will consider it". he was challenge by one of the posters, asking "since Hong Kong's market is smaller than China, what is the benefit that Hong Kong players have over Chinese player?" the Mafra guy said: "Hong Kong players can come to Portugal without issue (no need VISA), and Hong Kong players can use their Special Administrative Region status as Hukou to play in China" very interesting..
a poster ask the mafra-chinese guy if any xinjiang players are considered. he replied: "xinjiang players are rather difficult to manage, if we have a chance, we will fully negotiate for sure". i believe he is citing cultural-difference of the xinjiang players, where they have islam beliefs and carry a different diet. (FYI, guangzhou evergrande youth school acknowledged this point, and offered a separeted halal canteen for xinjiang students).
For the record, Eintracht Braunschweig have also announced that the loan deal won't be made permanent. The coach has mentioned that he might play in the last home game on sunday, though, together with the other players who are leaving.
Found this pretty interesting. Huang Wei 黃威 has started the past five matches for Benfica B. He's played the full 90 against Arouca on April 28, Trofense on May 4, Porto B on May 8, Freamunde on May 12, and Santa Clara on May 18 (today).
