CONFIRMED: Two Chinese players from Guangdong joined a team in Sweden second tier. Sorry I couldn't get the name of the club because it is all Chinese. The players are Zhu Haiwei and Tan Binliang (or Tan Bingliang). Source: http://sports.163.com/13/0404/22/8RLD4TGO00051C89.html
They joined Jönköpings Södra IF, Both are midfielders, ill try to keep an eye on them since Superettan is televised on local tv. http://www.j-sodra.se/web/seniortruppen_1.aspx Also Tan Binliang scored in a U21 friendly against GAIS, they won 3-0. Tan has also featured briefly for the senior team friendlies whereas Zhu Haiwei has only played for U21. The season will start now this sunday away to GIF Sundsvall

After not playing in Orlando City's (United Soccer League, which is US second division) first two matches, Long Tan entered as a sub in the 61st minute in Orlando's 3-1 win over Phoenix FC Wolves picking up a Goal in the 68th minute and an Assist in the 87th minute!
Apparently we have a new Chinese player on a European team. Fei Yu, 22 year old midfielder from Shanghai Shenhua, transferred to Warta Poznan of Poland's second tier on March 2, 2013. http://wartapoznansa.pl/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=210&Itemid=17 http://wartapoznansa.pl/index.php?o...owym-pikarzem-warty-pozna&catid=14:aktualnoci
I'm not sure, but I believe Tan Binliang is from Guangdong Sunray Cave and Zhu Haiwei is from Tianjin Songjiang.
if this is confirmed, Fei Yu is the second Chinese player to play in Poland (after Dong Fangzhuo), and the first Chinese player to play in Poland's second tier.
ZHANG CHENGDONG* 張呈棟 (Eintracht Braunschweig/German Bundesliga 2.) German Bundesliga 2. April 8th, 2013. SUBBED IN at 58th MIN. Eintracht Braunschweig 0-3 Hertha BSC German Bundesliga 2.: 5 starts + 7 subs Total: 12 games
Tan Long is starting the second match of the season for Orlando City against LA Blues. He's been all over LA Blue's defense and probably has like four shots on target in just the first half. Halftime now.
I'm hoping that Orlando becomes the 20th team in MLS and that Tan Long returns to MLS along with the team. If he can achieve some success in the US hopefully it would inspire more Chinese youngsters to try out for MLS - after all, MLS is a proven path to bigger teams in Europe for many players.
Tan Long ended up playing 71 minutes and had 4 shots according to the box score in Orlando City's 0-1 loss to LA Blues.
Jönköping won their second game in a row and are now topping Superettan on goal difference however neither Tan or Zhu were in the squad for both games
Fei Yu played his first match for Warta Poznan yesterday against Olimpia Grudziadz. Fei came on as a substitute for a Polish player named Nowosielski at the 58th minute.
Tan Long started and played the full match for Orlando City against the Rochester Rhinos today. Scored a goal in the 45th minute and was named man of the match.
an interesting article about chinese players in different leagues: http://voice.hupu.com/hushi/soccer/9995.html not sure why they didn't mention anything about Li Xiang in Thailand First and Second tier.

http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNTEyNjA5MDQw.html Wang Chemgkuai. On trial since January/February and it's his 2nd stint. Wei Shihao was supposed to travel to Amsterdam as well, but there were some miscommunications with his club. One of the moderators @ http://www.ajaxtotaal.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=1150 has interviewed him in Chinese, but you will have to join to be able to view.
So is Wei trialing with the club at the moment or was the trial canceled? Also how is Wang playing? Any attributes of his that stand out?
it was reported that Fei Yu will be going back to China shortly. the club thinks Fei Yu doesn't meet their expectation and decide not to renew Fei Yu's VISA in poland. the VISA will expire april end.
