I would imagine at the Rob. Seeing as the big boys end at 5 and much of the bench plays in the reserve game too.
That's what I suspected and I remember this happening in the past...that and when the U-17 USMNT played....or was it younger? Thanks for the answer NewTex.
observations/opinions from today's reserve game: - Tyler Deric is coming along fine. for some reason he looks bigger than Tally Hall out there or it could be he 'plays' bigger. i want a re-measure. wish we would of gone further in the USOC so he could of gotten more minutes. one thing he does better is his punting. dude has a booming leg. - Josue Soto is interesting. not the fastest guy, not the flashiest guy but very tight on the ball (on occasions). reminds me of a poor man's Gringo Torres. expect to see a lot of him in the 2012 preseason. hopefully he starts earning sub-minutes in 2012. - Eddie Robinson, God Bless him. still out there playing his ass off in front of 50 people. yelled at a Fire player for diving and then didn't back down when the player (who was twice as big as Eddie) got in his face. then on a 50-50 ball towards the end of a game that the Dynamos were winning 3-0, had a violent head to head collision with one of the Fire academy kids and opened the kids head up like a piñata. blood was shed. i really, really hope all those youngsters pick up Eddie's work ethic and fire.
Deric is great and so is Piña. I don't know if Piña will still be a Dynamo when he reaches his 20s, but if so the team is certainly well set in goal for many years. I like Josue too, he is still young but solid. At the moment I don't see him replacing anybody on the team but I think he could hold his own in a game. They have had trouble pronouncing his name, but they seem to have resorted to calling him "Hoser." The kid that was introduced to Eddie looked like he was about 14. I felt bad for him and the Fire bench was angry at Eddie, but the guy was smiling when he went to the bench, though his head was very bloody. Nigel has a pic that clearly shows it wasn't Eddie's fault. At the Dinner with the Dynamo Eddie mentioned how he had told his wife he can make it another couple of years. I don't know if he actually has that many more years in him as a player, but I hate to think of the team without him. We really need his work ethic on the team as well as his character. He is everybody's favorite Dynamo. edit: So, Nigel posted the pic while I was typing. The guy also had blood at his hairline above his face. They were sewing him up after the game. Nice pics, Nigel.
