I found Rennes's recent Uefa Cup/Europa League performances and its very dreadful.

Please keep Rennes out of Europe !

All they need is Erding, he has experience of Europa League since it's the only competition he's playing. This summer was just a setback, they should sign during the winter transfer window. He'll help them to make their way to the top. He's far from being individualist since he wants his teammates to shine more than him. That's why he's always doing the wrong calls and always doing poor choises. Nene, Menez, Pastore, Gameiro, Hoarau and even Bodmer who took his starting spot during the past season are all thanking him for his generosity. Sign him, please...:(

It is. You're not really teaching me anything.

There's only one way : other teams have to do better in the championship.

Their record is indeed frustrating but hey, if they keep qualifying...That said, the group they were in was probably the closest thing to a Champions League group in this EuropaLeague.

With some more luck and control they could also have had 7 points from the 3 first games where the result didn't match the actual performance yet I agree, the " learning the competition" thing is getting old...

Given the way he spat in Rennes' face, I don't really see that happening. Let's say I'd be very very surprised to hear about that.

Erding isnt the answer. He hasnt scored in the Europa League for PSG and he is a poor finisher. I highly doubt if Rennes had him they would have done any better.

I only got to watch part of one of the home matches. What happened in the 3 home matches where only 3 draws could be achieved??

don't they have IHOP's in AZ? buckwheat is a grain with a very particular nutty taste used for pancakes in the states, and crêpes in france... and especially in brittany (it's called sarassin in french).

Alessandrini looks like a good signing ; the kind of player we definitely need.

Rennes fans have gotten used to the idea that Pinault's fortune while being somewhat a guarantee doesn't mean that he will throw bucket loads of cash in the club. I would say that it is his sensible Breton peasant relationship with money but obviously he's not so sensible when it comes to buying a Venice palace' and expose modern art there...

That said, putting your own money on the line in sport is the best way to contemplate wads of cash evaporating...The club has to succeed on its own merits and be financially balanced I guess.

As for the stadium extension, they might as well build a new one; the Stade de Route de Lorient is stuck between a road and a river. Well, they can do something spectacular like the upper parts bridging that road and that river !

The beginning of the season do not look good at all. Two defeat already, the next one against Bastia is already an important one.

But above all it looks like we have not a team ready yet.
