can some explain the English County Cricket system to me, like how the league is set up and how the games work? 1 day, 2 day, etc
The county championship is organised into two leagues, each made up of 9 teams with the teams playing each other twice. The games are played over four days and each team has two innings. The bottom 3 of the first division are relegated and the top 3 of division 2 promoted.There is no relegation from the second division. The 18 teams are fixed and have been since the addition of Durham (a bit like a new franchise)some years ago. Warwickshire have won the county championship division one and Notts have won division two.
BTW that is the official first class county championship, as well as that there are 3 one day competitions. There is a one day league organised along the same lines as the county championship (with the addition of Scotland who play in the second division). Each team has one 50 over innings. Glamorgan are this season's one day champions. As well as this there is the extremely popular 20-20 game, organised in 3 regional leagues with the top 8 teams meeting in the quarter finals. Four progress to the finals day in which the semis and the finals are all played in a single day at one ground (this year Edgbaston). In this each team has one innings of 20 overs. The champions of this are Leicestershire. There is also the C&G cup, a knockout tournament similar to the FA cup which also includes minor counties (places like Devon). These games are single innings 50 over matches and Gloucestershire are the champions. I hope that clears some of it up.

No, it's a ritual practice. They have to sign it into their contract with their national teams, that they promise to do this at the end of the career.
Well actually cricketers have one of the highest suicide rates of any profession in England. Alot of people think its because the game is so seasonal and pressured, that many top themselves in the winter.
At cricket!! Your not the quickest one about, are you! Anyway i believe that Freddy is the best at cricket in the world. But i will admit im biest.
Andrew Flintoff. And the answer to the question is ... no. Freddie is a great entertainer and explosive batsman but he isn't consistent enough to be named the best ... yet. For me he's the second best all rounder behind Kallis with Pollock third. In terms of overall play, I would still rather have a Lara, Tendulkar, Dravid, McGrath, Warne or Murali than Flintoff. He is a great player though.
Flintoff has done well for England recently, but lets wait and see how well he bats against a world-class bowling attack in McGrath, Gillespie, Kasprowicz, Lee, Warne and MacGill.

Everything. I seriously have no clue. I've watched a little, but it's like watching a movie in Ancient Egyptian. Mostly I see highlights on FSC now and I can't follow what the announcers are talking aobut. I'll try the site BhoysFC1995 posted and see if I can start to get a working knowledge.
