I know that when GolTV covered Serie A, the commentary was voiced over remotely from Miami. Does anyone know if the FSC commentators are remote or at the stadium?

They don't sound like they are at the stadium.

I seriously doubt they are at the stadium as most foreign announcers in Italy anyway, don't travel. I'm pretty sure they are being voiced over.

I can't see how they could be either.

Because when a West Ham match at Upton Park with some 35,000 people sounds louder than Stadio Olimpico or San Siro during a derby match, something's up with the sound.

I don't think they are there live...but the video quality of FSC and GolTV compared to Rai are immensely greater. I hate watching games on Rai bc the image is very soft. The commentators on FSC aren't the greatest either...but at least FSC shows many Roma games, so i'm very happy.

The quality on FSC is better because the feed comes directly from SKY.

In Italy RAI International re-transmits it so I think it loses some picture quality.

& maybe the sound qulity also. The trouble is although the FSC are knoweldgeable and improving with every broadcast, the Italian commentators have so much more depth and inside knowledge that the FSC guys do not. But they are getting there....

I just wish FSC launched an HD version of their channel, Sky offers HD games over in England and Italy.
