Seven more games to go. Each one is a match we can win - whether home or away - if our lads play to their full potential. There aren't many reasons we shouldn't leave Loftus Road tomorrow afternoon with all three points.

We will need to find our winning ways once more if we are to at least hold on to a top six spot, let alone join the hunt for an automatic place. This final run-in is the one thing we have in our favour over our promotion rivals. Only Stoke - and possibly Norwich and Wednesday - are the only opponents we will face currently in the upper half of the table.

    COME ON YOU BAGGIES!!!

Thank God for the three points! We were in danger of falling out of the play-off places today, so our win today at QPR was absolutely vital.

It seemed neither team was interested in the first half. Kevin Phillips' goal in the 48th minute gave us a brief advantage. After we got our first, however, it seemed like we stopped playing. We let the R's equalise on a goal by sub Dexter Blackstock, and they nearly nipped ahead minutes later when Dean Kiely fouled Paul Furlong in the box for a QPR penalty. Fortunately, Kiely guessed correctly and palmed away Furlong's attempt to the right. Zoltan Gera got our winner as normal time was running out to give us the victory.

With W***es taking a beating this afternoon at the Molineux, we've jumped back ahead of them to fifth in the table. Sunderland have at least temporarily jumped ahead of Blues in the table to second. It will take more favourable results in our final six matches of the season if we hope to somehow get back into the mix for an automatic promotion spot. We must at least tighten our hold on a place in the play-offs.
