Ablemos un poco de la asistencia en el Nuevo estadio, cual es el problema? El presio del boleto, el orario, el equipo, la zona donde esta el estadio, el acceso, vergara. Pienso yo que a cada seguidor de un equipo de futbol le gustaria tener su propio estadio, aora que tenemos nuestro propio estadio por que se mira tan basio?
Residents of Guadalajara are going through financial issues. That's the only possible thing I can think of, I mean we back a lot of people at our away matches..We have the most fans in all of Mexico.
Also, outside of Monterrey and DF, Chivas fans get to see the team once a year, so they'll pay to go. In Guadalajara, they have the opportunity to see them every other week. It's tough in these times of economic stress. They need a better marketing/sales department, or some economist dude to help them with their pricing scheme.

I've spoken to a few friends and family from Guadalajara who feel this. The team has slowly steered away from 'El Pueblo', whether it be because of results or because of Vergara's innovative ideas rolleyes. Some feel that most of the players are lacking passion...even though the vast majority have come through the Chivas youth system, they're missing "personality". Like WTF is up with Magallon saying that he didn't want Atlas to go down to Primera A? After the whole Monterrey fiasco with the NT, the last thing we would want is the media being around the players so much. But I think that's one thing this team needs. Vergara has shut the doors on the media and on the fans. Now we have no idea what's going on with the team, what they think about upcoming games...who these new kids are...or anything along those lines. The team has no idols...Bravo, Bofo? Not outside the stadium...at least, that's how it was when I went. That's what I loved about el Jalisco. You would get there a bit early, have yourself a torta then go inside and enjoy the game...while beer vendors would walk around. I loved not having to get up and go across the aisle to get the goodies. Yes, I'm lazy and want things brought to me! As much as I love the new stadium...it's too "Americanized", IMO.
A buddy of mine went to the inauguration and told me that they weren't selling jack shitt outside and it was hotter then hell to top it all off. Everyone was all pissed off because they couldn't even get a bottle of water. So pretty much it's still this way? AND when you go inside you gotta go across and stand in line for a beer? WTF?!! I gotta agree, having brews and snacks come to you with no effort is part of the whole experience.
