Sort of. Every time that's posted in this thread, Oklahoma has a minor earthquake and I know to log on. That or it's the fraking...
Awesome, congrats. The only downside is, to me, it doesn't look like that gives you guys much room to grow.
1) The Casbah and Faultine do not have the numbers to fill half that section (not trying to start anything, its just the facts) 2) How is the singing and stuff going to work? Will the Faultine and Casbah sing Ultra songs? Any comment guys? @SJTillIDie @San Jose Ultras ?
it's going to be a clusterf**k just like 2010 and 2011 when we were right next to casbah... everyone is going to end up chanting over each other and unintentionally interfering with each other and our home atmosphere will go to sh**.
I know it's been mentioned many times in this thread, but the above photo really shows it: Those seats are fvcking steep.
So is having the shirtless bellies further from the pitch a good thing or a bad thing for the other teams?
Not to condone what the FO is doing, but doesn't it become harder when you now appear to have 3 supporters groups? You only have one end zone seating since there are no seats in the other end zone and I doubt the FO would put supporters on the side seating. What would a Quake fan say the proper solution is for a 3 supporters groups when some the the threads seem to say the groups can't/won't/haven't been able to combined? Or could you do like Colorado did and put the supporters on the field in temp stands. That way you could either have supporters in both end zones or fill the temp end only which would be closer to the field and leave the other end zone for normal GA seating.
They should do what they are doing at Buckshaw right now. Put some bleachers for Faultline/Casbah on the empty side.
The "empty" side will have a terraced berm of at least four rows the length of the end line. The other groups could decide to take up residence there. Not an ideal situation, but, better than being in conflict with the Ultras.
I think that would benefit everyone. I hope the Casbah and Faultline leaders realize its not going to work for anyone if all 3 SG's are on the same side.
If the two smaller SGs are on the other end, that basically gives you 90 full minutes to harass the opposing keeper, and keeps the SGs happy. Plus, it gives the supporters somebody to throw chants to across the stadium. I don't see any reason not to do that.
