Personally I think that EJ was the biggest problem that you guys had. You have alot of players who like to play the ball into the box and score with their feet, but not alot of size. This is the reason that teams like Houston excell in the playoffs, they can always find goals in tough, ugly, games. That's why you struggle in the playoffs to score when defenses get tighter. EJ was the clear solution to that and you lose him for an entire leg. You better hope that he's back for the second leg. I think he's key for you. What's funny is that RSL actually has a similar problem at the moment.
This is the second recent Sounders game that I have been unable to watch in the last month...had to watch it on a stream...is there some sort of ongoing issue with televising Sounders matches in the Northwest and Alaska??
You can tell that Hochuli loves to show off but Salazar seems a bit more low key about it. Or maybe it's just the nature of the sports.
I think they both like to showoff thier guns. Have you seen Salazar when he acts mad and pulls out a card? Its like he's Mr. Olympia.
Well here in Alaska is NBCSP...it was listed as being televised and for the second time in a row it instead showed MLS 36...this seems to happen with Sounders games only as other MLS games show just fine..its infuriating....
Do you get ROOT? It was also televised there.. But yes, the Sounders don't really have a PNW television presence unless the Mariners and Timbers don't have a game. It rather annoys me that it is easier for a MlS fan in Eastern Washington to catch a Timbers game than it is to catch a Sounders game.. Seattle needs to get a Spokane broadcaster ASAP...
So all the Sounders have to do is go into Rio Tinto next week and either: 1) Win or 2) Draw and win the PK shootout Yeah, Sounders got this.
No ROOT...I didnt think it would be an issue since all nationally broadcast games had been running fine on NBCSP...again its only been going dark on the last 2 Sounders games.. At least I can stream the games, I did get to watch LA vs. Seattle but that was a road game...I'm still not sure if the game being a Sounders home game plays into these blackouts..
I don't know, but if you watched Canadian Football afterwards, apparently you can kick a field goal, and then the other team can kick it back out, and then you can kick it back in again, and then they can kick it back out, and kick it back in again. It's soooo cool.
Booing the fact that he didn't get taken out of the match and that he was taken out by his own player. That and no one in the stadium other than maybe the people that were right there on the south side could see he was actually bleeding.
I suspected that was the case. I think most of the people booing will say "well damn" when they realize that he broke his nose and required stitches.
