QPR (16th, 33 GP, 40 points) tries to win its second straight under new manager Warnock as they face relegation candidates Plymouth (23rd, 33 GP, 30 points) at Loftus Road.

No changes in the starting XI for the R's from Saturday's 3-1 win against WBA. Lee Cook returns from illness and takes a place on the bench.

The R's are in 16th, but just 3 points ahead of Sheffield Wednesday, who sits in 22nd -- the top relegation spot. The R's need three points today.

    ---------------

QPR: Ikeme, Stewart, Leigertwood, Gorkss, Connolly, Faurlin, Hill, Simpson, Ephraim, Priskin, Taarabt.

Subs: Cerny, Ramage, Vine, Buzsaky, Cook, Borrowdale, German.

Plymouth Argyle: Stockdale, Duguid, Fletcher, Johnson, Mackie, Arnason, Fallon, Barker, Sawyer, Eckersley, Judge.

Subs: Larrieu, Wright-Phillips, McNamee, Summerfield, Mason, Cooper, Bolasie.

    Come on YOUUUU RRRRRRRRR's!

Rather quiet half so far. I think Taarabt has had a few chances though.

QPR 1, Plymouth 0 at the half. Taarabt converted a penalty in the 36th minute after Kari Arnason fouled Tamas Priskin in the box.

Wow. We haven't defeated Plymouth since 2004. While the last three matches have been draws, we haven't beaten them in 10 in a row (6 draws, 4 losses) in league play.

We haven't kept a clean sheet in the Championship since October -- 22 straight.

We have the worst on-target accuracy rate of any team in the division (47.26%).

Double sub in the 55th for Plymouth. Bolasie and Mason in; Judge and Fallon out.

Three bookings for Argyle thus far: Duguid (49, foul on Faurlin), Eckersley (59, foul on Priskin), and Barker (63, dissent). Matthew Hill (61, handball) has the only one for Rangers.

Still 2-0 QPR with less than a half an hour to play.

    QPR 2-0 Plymouth
    FULL TIME

The R's move up to 15th in the table. Sheff Wed lost, so we're now six clear of the drop zone (and we still have a game in hand on them). We're nine back of the playoffs.
