Completely agree - Puma made the fabric boots 8 years before Nike & Adidas jumped on the band wagon. I think main problem they had was durability and it was almost as it Puma couldn't see a way around it and when the V1.08s came out they were mostly plastic with only a little bit of fabric on them. I loved the V1.06s and in my opinion they ruined a perfectly good boot that probably just need some sort of of protection around then sole and the upper. Puma haven't really released anything amazing since the V1.06s they seem to be behind everyone else with the boots they have produced. appleCORR
Have to disagree abit, felt the Evopowers really marked a change for them, got the marketing and everything right and there was so much hype about it much more than we'd seen for most other boots (except nike because they're the king of advertising)
@JayMike-DK price? I'm guessing $350,000-$400k? Also can you confirm Balotelli will be putting this technology on his Bentley as well? Drivers in Milan should watch out!
Actually we convinced PUMA into lowering the price to $325,000 (no, thank YOU!) so that's pretty neat. I've heard no plans about Balotelli putting the DSAPPR tech on his current Bentley, but instead they are planning a special model made for him with DSAPPR as well as coin launchers to aim at poor Milan youngsters as well as a fireworks launcher in case the urge to wreck some havok in, say, a public bathroom arises. ...
Nah mate it's an April Fool's joke, sorry. As far as I know, camouflage tech is very, very complex and expensive and not something you would just put on a football boot We were just goofing around and thought it was a bit of fun. Absolutely
I posted this in player spotting but figured I show it here. http://www.footy-boots.com/puma-evospeed-1-3/
I love the evoSPEED 1.2, so I'm a little bit disappointed this doesn't look like it's making any huge strides. The new design and external everFIT cage are nice points of difference, but that looks to be about it. I'll reserve judgement until release; here's hoping there's more going on 'under the hood' and the leather version has some neat stuff going on.
I love the evospeed 1.2 as well so I'm happy to see not too much has changed. Although the new everfit cage looks good. I also wouldn't mind a slightly softer synthetic upper either. But we shall see
Puma King Top Di "Italia Edition" - http://www.sochuteiras.com/2014/05/puma-king-top-di-italia-edition.html
I tried the evopower on this weekend, wow. Great fit! adaptlite is seriously a great synthetic. So soft and pliable. the sales girl in puma was telling me about the boot(i like to play dumb and see what they come out with) She told me that the boot was made from leather! Highly recommend anyone to try the evopower on
