I can see why none of the PSV fans are posting anything these days. This was one of the worst displays of football that I've ever seen. Players were just giving up out on the pitch. I don't now if Cocu can do anything about it.

Don't be that hard, right on 2-3 at 84 mins things could have gone either way, they pushed up & Vitesse exploited with counters. Tbf counter attacks were Vitesse main strategy in the first half & in the last 15 mins.

Gotta admit it was touching to see a few PSV fans consoling some players after the heavy defeat. Rekik just had his worst day at the office. Meanwhile, it was amazing to see how Vitesse lobbed the balls in that easily disoriented PSV's defence

Although Rekik scored to make it 2-3, Vitesse immediately scored afterwards, to quickly deflate them. PSV's defense always looked shaky, throughout the whole match.

I really hope they can turn it around midweek.

I was just wondering about that thread title "Cocu returns us to glory". Are you defining "glory" as 9th place, or 10th place? :whistling:

PSV has outperformed Ajax and Feyenoord for worst centennial year, and that is quite an achievement.

Memphis Depay and Joshua Brenet got into a fight in front of rolling cameras during a training session.

Phillip Cocu had a tumor removed today. Lets hope its not malignant.

Prayers are out (even though I'm not religious)

He must be OK as he was on the sideline for the match. Too bad his team didn't play well as they dropped all points to Groningen 2-3. Terrible defending as the Groningen attackers were running right past everyone and had not Zoet been on his game it would have been worse. Can't wait to get Zivkovic to Amsterdam next season!

It was a bad season for PSV, but they have a talented team that might surprise next year.

I wonder how many shiny new expensive toys PSV will buy this offseason to ratchet up the hype machine once again?

Not sure that they will have the funds. They really don't have any prime players to sell for big €s like Strootman last year.

Park Ji-Sung has ended his career. His performance has been a major factor in PSV's second season half recovery and making European football. Shame he had to retire from a knee injury. Even in the final stages of his career he remained a clever, classy player that added to the league.

Only if he has a significant WC. He's not a consistent player yet. IMO Wijnaldum is the one who has the best sales potential at this moment.

I always loved PSV, but this year they're the Pussies, Sissies and Villains.

Wijnaldum salvages a very important point for PSV. Looks like both NL clubs move on to next EL round, good news for our coefficient points

Congrats to PSV, they just refused to lose and are a well deserved winner of the Eredivisie championship. Don't know what will happen if they lose Depay and Wijnaldum over the summer. Let's hope they are competitive in CL.

Indeed, congrats to PSV. Clearly the best team in the eredivisie this year - very well deserved.

I guess van Gaal has given up on di Maria already. He's been relegated to a substitutes role pretty much at this point.
