I thought Verratti and Ibrahimovic were both outstanding, and Sirigu was very solid ........ a much improved performance, with a couple of shaky moments at the back. Looks like the team may be starting to gel, and Ancelotti may be close to working out his strongest XI.

Well stated. Saw the match here in the USA and 2 things I have learned in the past: 1) Ancelotti is an underrated manager. I really liked him at AC Milan. Plus he is a good guy. 2) no matter how much people rip or scorn Ibra, he is a world class talent. I think fans are rubbed wrong by his cockiness, but I say it is confidence.

It was a difficult game, as always against Nancy. Merci Ibra. The changes at the half time changed the game. During the first half, the midfield was too light so he replaced Gameiro who did nothing good and Verratti who was close to get a red a card by Bodmer and Rabiot. The density of the midfield in the second half was much better and PSG had a better control of the ball. The good news is also the good performance of Van der Wiel. His first good match with PSG. Bodmer loses the ball, is not even trying to repair his mistake and goal, 2:0. Ancelotti really a mistake by replacing Matuidi by Bodmer. He's not capable to play as midfield, to defend because he's too fat and has no stamina. It's not the first time we witness it, it's about time Ancelotti stop this madness with him. He even slowed PSG offensives. His best position was 10, released of defensive work. The midfield was horrendous. Can't wait for Motta to come back. Chantome hasn't done his job defensively at all, he left Van Der Wiel alone on the right side pretty much everytime and brought nothing offensively. All I have seen from him is back passing.
