wait your kidding about the last two games against mexico right?? this has got to be a joke b/c if it isn't there's no more that needs to be said about how careless Chiriboga and the ecuafutbol are about our NT. They'll be explaining it in actions, clear as day.

Chile was going to send their sub 25 to play our "A" team...LOL!! the little respect that our team has in South American is quickly disappearing. When you have a CLUELESS DT ( 2 wins in 16 ) and greedy president no one will start to take us serious.

what an embarrassment, thank you CHIRIBOBO!!!

Here's Ruedas list for the August 10 game against Costa Rica:

    Arqueros.
    Máximo Bangüera (Barcelona)
    Adrián Bone (Deportivo Quito).

    Defensas.
    Gabriel Achillier (Emelec)
    Fricson Erazo (El Nacional)
    Eduardo Morante (Emelec)
    Juan Carlos Paredes (Deportivo Quito)
    Walter Ayoví (Monterrey-México).

    Volantes.
    Flavio Caicedo (El Nacional)
    Edison Méndez (Emelec)
    David Quiróz (Emelec)
    Segundo Castillo (Pachuca-México)
    Luis Saritama (Deportivo Quito)
    Oswaldo Minda (Deportivo Quito).

    Delanteros.
    Félix Borja (Pachuca-México)
    Jaime Ayoví (Pachuca-México)
    Christian Benítez (América-México)
    Joao Rojas (Morelia-México)
    Christian Suárez (Santos-México.

Glad to see Erazo and Morante on the list, as well as Rojas, hopefully he put his off the field incident aside and learned that irresponsible behavior will not be tolerated. Also happy to see Jaime Ayovi and Cristian Suarez.

What the hell is Castillo and Minda doing on the list! Castillo was arguably Ecuador's most dissapointing player in the Copa America. Rueda keeps on calling up Saritama, I dont know what he sees in him, I really don't. I wonder why Rueda didn't call up Arroyo.

Things I want to see in this game are as follows: Erazo paired up with Morante en la zaga, Achilier at RB and Bone at GK. I would also like to see Flavio Caicedo play, I haven't seen the guy play so I'm curious to see what he can bring to the table.

here we go again with those piece of sh*t deportivo chiquito players ruining every damn convocatoria. So surprsied Checa isn't on here too. and now Giovanni Nazareno is part of this squad to make matters worse. Rueda stays calling up wingers trying to make them into right and left backs instead of calling up players who naturally play those positions.

The only good thing about this call up is that FINALLY Eduardo Morante will get a shot. I hope he shines here.

Ecuador is superior to Costa Rica..always has been. who know what conclusion to get this game. Waste of time if you ask me. Anyone see that Chile - France match? Now that was a football game. Chile is on the up and they were missing players..

Yeah I was joking around. Hopefully with this win, as they say, they got the monkey off their back. Maybe they might turn it around but they have to face much better opponents. The stream I was watching was Costa Rican and they kept mentioning how this was Costa Rica's worst performance under Lavolpe. Seems to be his last match as coach.

This game has proven - beyond any doubt - that we can beat Costa Rica.

This gives me confidence that we can defeat Equatorial Guinea. And watch out Samoa...you're next!
