So when I agreed to put a "wait and see" deposit down on next year's season tickets last Fall, my ticket rep and I agreed that February 1st would certainly be a date by which the Revs would've made the obvious, major improvements in the roster that would constitute a good faith effort to significantly improve the team BEFORE the regular season started.

At just six weeks before the season kicks off, and with the window open for over two weeks in MLS and a full month in Europe, I thought February 1st was plenty of time to make a determination.

I know some of you are in the same boat.

So I ask you: If, 8 days from now when the international window closes, the Revs only major international signing continues to be 32-year-old left back Didier Domi, does that constitute the sort of significant improvement we were looking for?

Are those of you who put deposits down going to renew based on that signing? Ask for more time? Ask for your money back?

Ask to have a real sit down with Bob Kraft...I'd like to hear it from his lips.

Are the Revs important enough for you to make a serious commitment(which is a monetary investment in players and Front Office personnel who are COMPLETELY DEDICATED to the REVS)??????

I'd really like to hear it from HIM...not from Bilello, Burns or even Steve Nicol...Because as we've clearly seen they are ONLY going to do as much as budgets and team ideology will permit...Oh yea, I DO NOT want to see Krafty Junior at this meeting...because it's also clear that he doesn't have the Football knowledge and/or any kind of commitment to this TEAM!!

It's TIME...NOW, to see the OWNER come out and put his stamp on this team..ARE YOU COMMITTED OR NOT??? and I don't want to hear ONE word about your Justin Beiber look-a-like or anything related to the nfl team, what-so-ever!!!

I'll be asking for more time probably.

I probably will, too--I wonder if March 1st is workable?

While I would like to renew, I'm tired of feeling like a sucker.

Same here. I just want to get it done with, but feel like this is the only way I, as a fan, can have any say.

You're not alone. Would encourage all Revs fans considering investing STH dollars into this club take a "wait and see" or "show me something" approach, en mass. Make it public. March 1 deadline.

If we threaten to vote with our wallet and make it clear we are considering not renewing, that's the ONLY way they (may) listen.

And if this doesn't get their attention, coming from one of the most recognizable Rev supporters, then that proves their level of insensitivity. ;)

Question for those who made their renewal contingent on "proof of improvement."

Did everyone agree to the same date with their reps? Maybe a little coordination on this end as to what d-day is would help.

I didn't make my renewal contingent on anything, but I would say that, if I had, signing Didier Domi would not have sufficed.

I already spent my money on something else. I will not be attending any games this season, or any seasons in the future, until major changes are made.

I didn't renew last season for the same reasons you've outlined. I made my ticket rep very much aware of this.

I had no issues going to the games I wanted, finding a spare ticket was rarely an issue, and if it was, I'd saved enough money to justify spending the $20 on a full price ticket. My protest is meaningless, but if the Revs note no drastic drop in attendance but a sharp decline in both new season tickets and renewal rates, change could come about.

I feel no guilt in not renewing for I can still go to the games and support the club without feeling like I've invested in a product that isn't trying.

In the interests of full disclosure, I'd also only be in New England for the summer as I'm in school, but even if I was home I wouldn't be renewing.

My ticket rep tried to pressure me into putting a deposit down....Prices will go up soon!, you're better off buying now, why pay more? I basically told her that if the Revs made changes they way I hope and brought in a 2-4 players that will make them a contender it will be worth the extra money. As of right now, its not. I'll probably do a 4 game pack instead

All the reps are aware, mine mentioned that a lot of people are taking this stance.

Let's be honest, if after a decade of abysmal attendance at their games didn't wake them up, do we really think anything ever will?

Overall attendance doesn't seem to bother them. They try to cash in on the Galaxy games and special events (Brazil, etc). Stand-alone Revs attendance is apparently a secondary concern. Season's ticket numbers, however, do seem to matter considering how defensive Mr. Bilello can be when questioned on the topic.

That said, I remember a lot of people here telling their reps they weren't renewing after Dempsey left until something was done with the money and posts about being told "a lot of people have been saying that."

May 15th seems like a fair compromise. :D

Interesting factoid out today in an SBJ article that FC Dallas increased its ticket sales staff this year from 7 to 25 and they are anticipating a 300% increase in season ticket sales this year.

They've been extremely shy about handing out that information (for good reason). I think they're around 5k or so right now (meaning last season).

I've held this stance from day 1....I put a deposit down for seasons, but if I feel necessary it will only be for 1 flex plan or a 4 game pack. I agree that the more folks that voice displeasure the better. The sales reps are technically the front line inside the FO. They should know best what the fans are feeling and pressure the higher ups to make a move or accept the consiquences.

Something like this could change things...
