one of my teammates also does this, he replaces studs on shoes. for example, in my team we get the copa's for free, and so he cuts of some of the studs, and replaces them with metal-studs!

I think its something to do with grip on the field and if conditions change they don't have to switch boots.

ronaldinho clearly uses a strap to keep his tongue down like the predaotr models.
also the leahter or design on the leather seesm different

I can't say for sure about Ronnie but i know for sure Ruud V.Nistelrooy used to have elastic holding down his tongues on his legends.

that gripes me a little. i tihnk all boots should have a sticker on them saying "yeh, this is the EXACT same boot that x wears for x team"

obviously some players get special treatment for boots for the actual fitting. but in terms of the design basics like velcro or elastic to keep the tongue down, thats just plain annoying.

personaly i dont buy a boot because a certain player is wearing it. ronaldo wears vapours and rooney and scholes currently wear T90s but neither appealed. i ordered Legends because of what YOU guys said about them, the fit, the comfort, the quality. now IF paul scholes was wearing the legends that we got sold then that would be cool as well, but only if they the same, not made of different materials. it would just reaffirm the quality of the boot if a top pro is wearing the exact same boot and not what is in effect a cheaper knockoff.
