This exchange from a recent Kevin Payne interview stood out for me:

Springfield, Va.: Will long-time season ticket holders have first-subscriber priority for seats at the new stadium, based on the year in which tickets were first purchased?

Kevin Payne: You should contact your ticket rep, but we will certainly be respecting the allegiance of our long time fans through a priority list for season tickets at the new stadium. That list exists today, and you should be sure you're on it.

Do the Revs keep such a list, as well? When and if Somerville happens, can we assume that current long-time season ticket holders are respected in getting first dibs?

I would assume they keep track of who is a season ticket holder and for how long.

When the Razor opened, it was clear that the Revs knew who the long time season ticket holders were and were very accomodating about seat assignments. I remember being asked for my preferred row and seats and getting them. I'd be surprised if it was any different moving to the new stadium.

I vote that the older folks get first choice.

I vote that the people who only take public transportation get first choice.

I vote that the people who shell out their hard-earned money on gasoline and drive an hour to and from the stadium should get first choice.

I imagine that current season ticket holders would have first choice at new seats, by default.

I'll see your hour tip and raise you a commute to games 700 miles each way from PEI. :)

I vote they only allow in 18,000 Revs Girls (in their "fitted" glory) and a select group of Riders. :D

On a more serious note, yes, the Revs know when we all bought our season tickets. I'm sure length of time having season tickets will play into this. Fortunately for them, they don't have to worry about all of those in GA.

Just found out I'd be 15th on the Somerville seating list. :D

Unfortunately, 387 people are tied for 14th. :(

I vote that the people who spend ~$60 on cab fare each game because they only use public transportation (which costs another $15) get first choice.

    Let's not be stupid.

People named Fran obviously get dibs on seats first.

No, women who went to college in Somerville need to go first.

    They definitely know.

And when Gillette opened, they even gave Cat. II/midfield season-ticketholders comparable seats at Cat. II prices for the next 3 seasons, even though they were in Cat. I.

And, this thread is sooo many years premature!

Proving that rkupp is in fact merely a dissenter, rather than a man of principles :)
