So I live in the US like many of you, and watch my matches online or at bars, a lot of times the matches are not on PFC international and I have to rely on streaming on certain sites to catch my Vasco games, especially when it's the Carioca and Vasco is playing small clubs like Friburguense, Macae, Boa Vista etc. But PFC says it has now a new program for their socios which allows you to see whatever game you want online, if this is true I could watch all of my Vasco games, even when they are transmitting the game but not to the PFC channels available in the US. So the question is, has anybody signed up to the Premiere FC online? Does it really allow you to watch any of the games being broadcast by PFC or is it only specific matches that they offer online?
Yea I often find myself having to stream or go on media blackout because the games pfc shows. I had to purchase globo international just for the Carioca/Paulistao. The Premiere Fc in Brazil looks incredible but oh well. We really should get 2 or 3 pfc stations , there is just to much content to have 1. They always mess up the schedule on me so even dvring can be an issue.
I know it's the same issue I have, but some bars around town have the satellite dish that gets the PFC from Brazil, so they get a bunch of channels here. But my biggest issue is that I would like to follow all of Vasco's game in a more legal way.
How could they get the Pfc from brazil? Do they buy there own dish or something? That's dope.. And it's not so much about the legality. For me it's more about I want the game on tv not on my computer.. If the stream service was as good as the Sunday Ticket on diretv.com it would be useful.
My Computer is connected to my TV, so I still watch it on the TV, the quality just sucks =( . I wouldn't mind paying for a service like Sunday Ticket to see all of my Vasco games. Heck Vasco could sell that service, pretty sure lots of people would buy it. And yes they have their own Dish, so if you go into bars like Padaria 2000 or Feijao com Arroz here in South Florida they PFC from Brazil. These are just 2 out of the many bars that do that.
Luckily for me Santos have a lot of matches shown on Pfc. I did notice since buying it Vasco isn't on live to much. If you look at how much pfc/globo is a month we really should be getting a Sunday Ticket type product.
2011 and 2012 Vasco were on all the time, but during 2013 even when our attendance numbers and TV ratings were a lot higher, we weren't on TV all the time.
One thing to keep in mind, and I am not sure about this, but even if your father in law gets the subscription, they may block access for the service for IP addresses outside of Brazil.
But with Slingbox, aren't you tied to whatever channel is tuned into the TV ? I guess he could ask to have an extra cable box installed in the house exclusively for him.
Yes, that's the downside. Or you can make sure the other person is a fan of the same team, so you know you'll watch the same game
