    Madness. Welbeck on for Valencia.
Young links up well with RvP on occasion and Tonio has done nothing so far except stand on the ball and cross it into defenders or pass it backwards.

Awful performances from Vidic and Valencia. I'll give Vida some time as he's rusty as hell but Valencia...

********ing Bebe could do more than him. And I am serious. What a disgrace he has been for months now.

It wasn't a Rooney half ... hopefully he will turn it around in the second half.

United should be happy that they are not behind, gave so much ball and chances to opposition.

yeah and Valencia was so bad ...

Young has been just as bad as Valencia; the problem is there's no one to be brought on for Antonio.

At least Rooney can play the inside forward role on the left.

De Gea, Carrick and RVP have been the only ones playing ok. If the others can kick it into gear, we should have a much better second half.

When we have our ********ing striker taking corners cause the wingers can't put in a proper cross, it's pretty hard to expect much else.

Hard for Jones to look threatening when the winger on his side of the pitch has been ponderous and shit. He also had a great cross that should have been an assist but Rooney and everyone else on the far post was asleep.

Jones wasn't great, but he wasn't bad.

Carrick, RvP and Evra (barely) the only United players doing enough right now.

    I hope he is.

It would be extremely irresponsible to harm your own team's title challenge out of spite.

That's the big question. Isn't he out with a "hamstring" injury?

Seems like Valencia doesn't even try to beat his man with pace anymore. Considering this was around 80% of his offensive game, he's next to useless at the moment.

Young can play on the right and swap with Danny.

In any case, Young hasn't had the kinds of opportunities Valencia has had. Tonio has had 1v1s edge of the area with 2 men in the box and then not even tried to beat his man.

He doesn't even overlap RvP, if Left Peg Leg Valencia doesn't overlap to get a cross in with his Right whats his purpose exactly...

Rooney has Jones wide open on the right and instead he tries forcing it in to RVP. Yeah, I would have done the same thing.

God Rooney has been rubbish today. He needs to score a goal or two just to be average.

This is why I think he is injured. Valencia hasn't even tried to go to his right and destroy with his pace.
