    Boss says Chicharito is starting.

Will we see the diamond again?

According to SAF, RVP should be good to go. It's looking like Rooney will be out due to an ankle knock and Evans is will also miss this one with a groin injury.

Good news is, Phil Jones should be back for the next CL game! :cautious:

442 with RVP and Hernandez upfront, Scholes and Carrick in midfield and Young and Valencia in the wings and we will keep debating how shit or not shit our attacking play is.

I am more excited about the CL than this game. Anyway, I'd like to see us pick up the tempo whoever plays I don't care, we need to play better with more penetration. The player that springs to mind is Anderson, he has had a good rest.

sometimes i feel that we're largely arguing semantics with discussing tactics - the players selected have a far greater influence on the way we attack. our 442 is almost a 4231 anyways since rooney drops so deep and the wingers play much further forward than the two CMs who also tend to stay in the middle of the pitch.

at the start of last year's campaign when we had a run of games ando-clev in midfield, young-nani on the wings, and rooney-welbeck up front, our 442 was mostly short, quick passes, the wingers cutting inside, the forwards moving into channels, the midfielders darting forward - fluid football. that won't happen with a young, carrick, scholes, valencia midfield regardless of formation.

We will drop points in this one if Fergie again starts with a retarded lineup.

There's no reason to, since we can play scrubs and kids in Europe. Which means we most likely will start with a stupid line up in this one. smh.

How old is Cleverley? Is he just a hold-over till we find someone better?
Also -- why is that woman dressed like she's Jackie Kennedy? Is that the latest fashion in England?

i can understand not starting cleverley since he had an international game during the week but what does anderson have to do to get a start?! he's actually having a very good season in limited minutes. did he sleep with fergie's daughter? i need answers.

We might as well have Neil ********ing Warnock as manager. What's the difference?
