I think we've played really well so far.

Kagawa has been good considering it's his first game back after a longish injury. Cleverley's had some wayward passes but he's been very active and involved. Like what I have seen from him.

Danny has also done well imo. Great movement and work-rate.

Need to kill the game off quickly in the second half and it'll be really comfortable.

Welbeck's movement and work rate have been superb. Looked composed for both half chances he got and has been a good gadget for forward passes. I'm not sure why he is being criticized.

Controlled the half for the most part. Didn't allow them any real chances. As expected struggled a little ourselves in front of goal.

If he was missing what Hernandez was against Newcastle I could understand but come on seriously?

Harsh. He's hardly been given any games as a forward.

Bang out of order. Have a zeros thought about your posts.

Welbeck gets played on the wing and gets reamed for not scoring now you criticize him for not creating when he is the primary goal threat?

Its also up to him to put himself in goal scoring opportunities. We delivered scoring opportunities for other players on the pitch. Our other 3 forwards find a way to make themselves available in threatening positions.

Talk about this match in this match thread please, tell me a decent through ball to Welbeck, ok just tell me a decent cross from either of our wings, or you expect Welbeck to do all that and score too.

My beef is that I have a higher standard for him - I don't think his movement is up to his normal caliber and it's making him miss out on chances. He is better than he's playing right now, and maybe it's due to rust.

Really happy with Kagawa's play, this is the kind of thing we bought him for.

I can't believe Welbeck is getting a hard time. If he was missing chance after chance after playing a few games as the lone front guy, fair enough.....but he's had 45 mins, after hardly any playing time, and I haven't seen him miss an 'easier to miss' type goal. In fact I think his link up and movement has been decent.

I dont know guys... Movement and work rate should not be enough for a Manchester forward in my opinion. I feel more confident in our defenders putting chances away. I dont dislike Welbeck at all, I just want him to blossom as a player, and as a fwd that includes goals. No one will be happier than me if he starts banging in goals.

I'm not having a go at Danny's goals, I'm having a pop as his movement cause he's done better. Anyway, I've had enough talking about it.

I noticed this the last few games, but the Setanta commentators say that this game was almost called off by the refs due to the standard of our pitch. It looks awful.

Great play by Kagawa and Cleverely, nice on Welbeck bringing in Valencia there. That's what I'm talking about.

I am starting to get uneasy with how we are letting them hang around.

These long balls pumped into the box will bite us in the ass. Also, good work by Young on the tracking back.

?? Working his socks off, passing well too. Been knocked off the ball a bit though. I'm more annoyed with Valencia and his deer in headlights display.

It looks like a rugby pitch.
