The match survived a 1:15pm pitch inspection, apparently.

I quite like that. A few things:

West Brom have been decent so it could be a tricky game if we keep up the defensive errors.

Might be difficult for Danny, one of the areas he really needs to improve on is his finishing. Being left out for so long wont have helped that. Hope he has a good game.

Good to get Kagawa and Vidic back and playing. Hopefully they won't be too rusty.

Apart from RvP being on bench I don't see anything to complain about in the lineup....

Fantastic selection and shape, assuming we play everyone in the obvious positions. Looking forward to the game.

A little worried about finishing with that lineup.

Yeah, it might backfire, but I think it's worth the risk this time.

Danny and Kagawa get minutes in their favourite position.
    RVP gets a little rest.
We have a 7 point lead.
    We're at home
We have firepower on the bench should the need arise.

Agreed on that, especially given the conditions. Easy to pick up a strain on a pitch like this, so I'm okay with RvP on the bench.

However, if we shank 2 or 3 gilt edge chances early, I worry we might start pressing and will need that bench. I just hope we make the change with 30 mins left if we need it, not at 75 mins...

Steve Clarke isn't too Ill to attend the press conference, he's just done what everyone on FM does and sends his assistant.

Combined with his grit and work rate, he's going to be a real handful.

I also hope it's not close when they bring Lukaku off the bench. He really scares me...against our CB's...

I thought he was already on five. Good. His last one was so unnecessary as well. If he picks up one in the next match it wouldn't matter. Just the FA Cup.

Good work from Carrick to get that ball off Long.

These announcers, so obvious in their bias.

Big ask of Kagawa here tactically.

Pretty much a Kaka role, no?
