From what I read in Fergie's friday conference, I would expect this lineup: --------De Gea-------- Rafael--Rio--Evans--Evra ----------Carrick--------- ---Cleverley-Anderson--- Valencia--Rooney -----------RVP------------ What I prefer to see: De Gea Rafael Rio Evans Evra Valencia Cleverley Anderson Nani Rooney RVP That would destroy them.
Who is this Arsenal, last season we beat "Miscellaneous London Team Red" 8-2 if you check the match thread https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/...eam-red-fa-premier-league-28-08-11-r.1807527/
dunno if it has been mentioned but i would like to see Nani start this one. simply because André Santos is awful in both directions and either Nani or Valencia should be constantly played into situations where they can run at him. not sure who their LCB will be. Vermaelen i am guessing and i am not sure how much help he will be to him either. hopefully Rafael is good to go as well as a double team on Santos should yield some rewards. Scholes, Cleverley & CakE Soap Carrick in mid and maybe Danny/Nani* out wide v Jenkinson? *if Valencia gets RW
I'd like to see Nani just because he's previously tormented Arsenal on a number of occasions, he's always had their number. Shame Gallas isn't still there to be mocked
De Gea Rafael Ferdinand Evans Evra Valencia Cleverley Carrick Young Rooney Van Persie Subs: Lindegaard, Anderson, Cheech, Nani, Scholes, Powell, Wooton
Generally, I agree. But if you give Andres Santos time and space, he can pick a good cross/pass, and shoot from 25+ out.
Arse Mannone, Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Santos, Wilshere, Arteta, Ramsey, Carzola, Podolski, Giroud Subs: Martinez, Koscielny, Walcott, Coquelin, Arshavin, Jenkinson, Chamakh
Valencia + Rafa should eat him up. It is the other flank I am worried about with the fantastic Young starting.
